Vocab
Learn how your primary language relates and transforms into target language, if they are not too far away on the language tree, chances are you would beable to get to conversational vocab (70%) in no time.
Non latin Scripts
- First learn how to listen to the language (mind absorbs the sound system)
- Then learn how to speak it.
- Tandem bw the Two after B2.
- Now learn the script or the characters or whatever (don't fuss over it, just learn the structure, don't give it more than 2 days if non-japa-china-korean language)
its more important to learn to listen and speak then write and read. Because it gets 99% easier after the fact.
Interaction & Immersion
Even if if Duolingo doesn't have the best material, the social thing and the ability to immerse & learn through interaction beats nothing.
Duolingo Chinese < Hello Chinese but you can isolate hanzi and pinyin in duolingo.
Breaks
The anki method (fibonichi) only works if you take breaks and escape and come back so that your brain knows its important hence learn fast.
Not Cramming but thinking it through
don't just anki the shit, jave some framework of logic that helps to come up with vocab and grammer by thinking hence not remembering but end is remembering.
