Motivation and Success - The Motivational Athletes
sports effective
Most of us see sports effective people on TV and in magazines, but we don't take the time to really understand what they do. We just assume that because they're on television, they must be successful .

So why do we want to emulate such inspiration? Why would we want to emulate a person who inspires us? Why not simply become inspired by someone who is successful and believe it too?

I believe that the truth is that success is a true motivator. I think that is why the rich and famous have been so successful, they've never stopped pushing forward to be better than everyone else. They push themselves further and become more successful. Even the least successful person has had the opportunity to push their own limits and reach their goals .

Even when I am trying to get my point across in public speaking, I am always looking for more challenges. In fact I will compare this to sports. As a professional basketball player, you are competing against millions of other players and coaches. And you don't know if you'll ever be a star, because you can get beat up during practice every single day.

However, when it comes to professional sports players, they've been through it all before and they're already experienced at what they do. So they know what is expected of them, and they know that if they don't do it right, they'll be held accountable.

Even job interviews, there's still a good chance that your performance isn't going to be perfect, so the coach or human resources department will hold you accountable. And they'll remind you of that every single day.

So when you compare athletes to those who do not have their own motivation behind them, you'll quickly understand that there's no comparison. They go into their sports completely focused on their goals, and they understand that when they come out on the field, there will be people who are watching and judging them. They know the importance of their sport and they accept that as a competitive advantage.

So next time you feel like you want to become successful, just think about how successful you could be if you just took a few moments to examine your own thoughts and what motivates you. Just get clear on what you want to achieve, and then imagine yourself succeeding in accomplishing that goal. Then you could be on your way to becoming sports effective.
