ALL ABOUT JAMES DEAN ^_^
James Dean was a supporting main character in The Monument Mythos series. He was the 37th president of the United Zones of America, having defeated both Richard Nixon and George Wallace in the 1968 United States presidential election. (He won fair and square, because hes way better idiots!)
Personality
James Dean was greatly enthusiastic in regard to his duties as a president, and often came across as cheerfully eccentric. He was amiable, charismatic, and firmly committed to the public good and bringing hope to others, treasuring peace above all. (He's so awesome right???)
Dean also loved his family immensely, displaying great worry towards his sister, Eunice Dean, becoming distraught by her suicide. (Somebody was behind it..)
Beneath his enthusiastic demeanor, Dean was very logical and tactically intelligent, taking incredibly drastic and deceptive measures. Sending terrorists to be "reformed" near national monuments, as well as having the Statue of Freedom be used to get rid of any remaining ADA members and turn them into Canyon Crowns. The unification of all tech companies in the nation under a single governmental body, making mechanical implants compulsory for all Americans, and calling anyone opposed to his presidency "anti-American" were all at best shady actions. (He's so good and the best!!)
History
James Dean was born on February 8th, 1931. Throughout his early life, Dean was a talented actor and a very good street racer. James Dean would star in many movies such as “East of Eden” and “Rebel Without a Cause”. (Best actor ever)

Presidential Campaign
In 1967, James Dean made a surprise announcement on television stating his intent to run for president. His TV spot on ABC news was preceded by intense anticipation by anchor Peter Jennings, due to somewhat cryptic news reports heralding one of the most important events in American history. The spot itself was relatively short, featuring Dean's headshots, as well as photographs of the Vietnam war. His sentiments against the war seemed to resonate with many Americans. Although the ad itself was extremely short compared to other presidential ads, Dean's ad received extremely positive reactions—with rampant celebration overtaking the nation shortly after the broadcast, with never ending parties continuing for the rest of the week, but the campaign was not met without backlash. A group opposing Dean, called the Anti-Dean Association, was formed and was primarily comprised of the older conservative population unfazed by his campaign—particularly those concerned with the newfound American reliance on technology. This group would go on to claim that James Dean was "no man", and that he was "Satan".
James Dean won over 300 electoral votes. Dean was inaugurated on January 20, 1969. Instead of having a very long and large speech, Dean only spoke for a minute, and instead invited others to speak. Some of the guest speakers included Martin Luther King Jr. This was the first time he had been in public since his assassination attempt 9 months earlier. Dean did finish his inauguration with a quick bongo session and then proceeded to race Richard Nixon on a race track. (What a nice guy!! :D)
Presidency
On April 20, 1969, James Dean addressed the nation on live television, highlighting his first ninety days in office. The audio was cut 6 seconds into the speech—an attack claimed by the ADA. In spite of this, President Dean's popularity only grew, due to the perceived sincerity of his mannerisms. Famed filmmaker Stanley Kubrick was quoted in dubbing the broadcast "the greatest silent film ever made." (THEY ARE SO CORRECT)
In May 13th, 1969, the ADA broadcasted a message on television, stating that "James Dean's America is Hell". They said that the viewers would hear the truth from Dean himself. After the announcement, all air raid sirens across all 50 states blared four times louder than normal. Most Americans suffered some form of hearing damage, if not total deafness. Some even had arteries rupture, causing deaths. Many entered fallout shelters, and the amount of cars left idling when drivers fled the sirens caused a lethal amount of carbon monoxide to enter the air.
After a few hours, all air raid sirens were successfully turned off, but America had been hit hardly by the incident. James Dean, who even deactivated a siren himself, had severe hearing issues, and suffered from major injuries, including extensive bruising and internal bleeding.
Dean launched a radio broadcast the next day, oddly over the same siren loudspeakers, accompanied by captions on TV for the many newly deaf, stating that ADA members would be sent to rehabilitation camps near or directly at monuments. These camps were so effective in transforming personality, demeanor, and strangely enough appearance, this is only made stranger by the fact that several national monuments contain trans-dimensional creatures, such as the Special Trees. The camps were so effective that even those who supported Dean wanted to enter the camps. Dean refused to let his supporters go to these "prisons", stating they'd no longer serve their intended purpose if everyone went.
After this, Dean collaborated with the new technology company Maize Machines. Maize Machines created the Maize Kernel, an extremely effective hearing aid. Thus, Dean held an emergency session of Congress, where he gave such a passionate speech (partly due to his new hearing aid malfunctioning) that the senators were deeply moved. In no time and the government rushed to create the Department of Technology to help with hearing loss around the country.
Over the course of May 1969, surgical androids helped implant hearing aids to all of those affected across the country, including Helen Keller.
By July 1969, the United States of America had become the very first country to eradicate deafness. Although strangely, people who did not want to have implants inserted into their ears suffered societal pressure and some where pressured to flee the country.
Other actions as president
The Dean Administration claims that they had shut down Project Giza Guardian in 1969, though this has been contested. Dean also legalized same-sex marriage. James Dean classified humanity and climate change as True Forces of Mass Destruction. (Go Dean! :3)
Late Presidency
In December of 1976, during a Saturday morning press conference, Dean was informed that a George Washington's body was preserved in the ice of the Delaware River. Dean's only response was "I'm surprised." (I would be suprised too)
On January 6, 1977, the ADA stormed the Capitol Building. During this, an ADA member shot down the Freedom Statue. This resulted in the Freedom Statue going berserk and killing 150 people, presumably mostly ADA members and insurgents inside the capitol.
After this incident, President Dean and the Department of the Interior sent Freedom to the Grand Canyon, where they told the public it would be free from harm. However, the true purpose of moving Freedom was so it could eliminate ADA members and persons of interest lured into the canyon, one of the victims of the Freedom statue was Maya Arnoldson.
Legacy
President Dean's legacy has been positive. Today, James Dean receives praise as one of the greatest presidents of America's history. In 2002, a documentary about him, titled DEANDEMOCRACY, was created, primarily discussing his victory in the election, the ADA, and a hijacking called DEAN DISASTER.
