It can also be used as a stand-alone crib even when it's not connected to the bed. It is packed with amazing features designed with parent and baby bonding in mind.
It is essential to keep in mind that this crib will not last as long once your baby turns six months old. You will need to purchase a larger crib. Overall, Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a really good buy and she was particularly impressed by its elegant design.
The Roomie Glide is available to purchase at John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be an affordable price for a cot featuring these advanced features. She liked the way it was positioned in her bedroom, and thought its gray color would be appropriate for most modern homes. However, she pointed that it's not a great idea to rock a smaller baby as it could set the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

We love the fact that it's made of soft materials that have mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It can be turned into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. While it won't be able to magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it can rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it is packed with lots of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism to open and close the side panel, and is simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.
Our testers were impressed with the simple access the side panel provides, which can be moved up and down at the touch of one button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them up.
It is possible to lower the side panel itself, but this isn't recommended, since it increases the likelihood that your child could get out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent feedings at night.
Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It comes with a tilting function for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to ease them into sleep after a meal. It's also very spacious and offers great ventilation due to its mesh sides.
Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it comes with an extensive instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's very mobile and can be moved from room room easily. It's small enough to be able to fit into a travel bag when not in use which is a plus if you need to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel didn't stretch as much as other models. This made it a little harder to see the baby from your bed.

The only downside was the absence of captions in writing on a few images which made it difficult to understand certain steps. Overall, it was an easy process and the quality of the materials used was excellent.
