/sabg/'s How to: Silver and Blood Live2D
Quick Note
While I will use the term "Live2D" in this doc, the files we are working with are not supported with applications like Live2D Cubism, but rather Spine2D. You can try to use Live2DViewerEX so long as you have the Spine Expansion DLC, but I will not cover that here. Also, Fuck Off Reddit.
Straight to the point guide to get your waifu's Live2D model playing outside the game. You can make screenshots, videos, and even edit the existing assets for your own amusement. Will update whenever I or other anons find stuff to improve the experience.
Live2D Assets
Get your desired assets here: https://mega.nz/folder/z8hHTICa#FCr2NVA_fu7uG_0mZB3kVQ (New Link 8/25)
I will update them every patch, and the link could change so always check here if the Mega suddenly says it got taken down. Link still dead or something is up will the files, let me know in the latest /sabg/ and I'll sort it out.
Live2D Viewer(s)
Download both of these, one is getting updates and will eventually be feature complete, the other is more feature complete but has some annoyances and is no longer supported. I will walkthrough both.
- (Current) Spine Viewer by ww-rm: https://github.com/ww-rm/SpineViewer
- (Sunseted) Spine-Viewer-Vue by anosu: https://github.com/anosu/Spine-Viewer-Vue
Alternatively if you are already experienced and have Spine2D Pro or Essential 4.1.24 or higher, you can click Import Data and select your skel file and proceed from there. Trial version does NOT work with these assets.

Prepare Model Data
- Make a new folder and call it whatever you want, I will call mine "Compile". You will be copying certain files into this folder for the Viewers to be able to recreate the scene. And for these applications, it needs to be all in one folder or it will error out.
- Go to the "TextAsset" folder and copy the
.atlas.prefaband.skel.prefabfiles into the Compile Folder. Then you will rename them by deleting the.prefabsuffix from both of them. The Viewers can now read the data from them.

- Go to the "Texture2D" folder and copy all the files into the Compile Folder. Should now look something like this.
Load Model into Player
Spine Viewer (Current)
Quick Note
This one is easier to work with but is missing features like transparencies, setting your own BG image, and the animation cycling is not quite working. However the dev is supporting this application so in due time those features will be added or fixed. The other viewer will have these missing features but has it own trade off.
In the explorer window, click the folder and locate your Compile Folder's path and select the folder.
You will then seen the .skel file. Right click select 'Import Selected Items".

The intro animation should immediately start playing. You can pause it but you cant seek backwards and the fast forward is kind of meh. But we wont focus too much on that. The following settings will matter most.
- Canvas: Overall Project Settings. Change the default sizes to 1920x1080 and set the FPS to whatever you want. You will need to readjust these settings in a different window later when exporting.
- Animation: This will let you cycle the available preset animations you see in the game.
Chauchangis usually the opening cutscene,Chuchang2will sometimes be there and it encompases all the animations.Idleis self explanatory.Touchis the secondary animation that plays inbetween idle cycles. In THati's case, its just Idle again. - Transform: Localized version of Canvas but for the model specifically. Adjust as needed.
- Slot: The fun switch. Lets you enable and disabled asset pieces. Will demonstrate in its own section.
Once you have played around or just want to export as a video or image, go back to model and right click the model name, export, and have various options. Lets go with Export Animation/Video
The Canvas settings should carry over, but not the FPS, readjust that. Also don't mess with Auto Resolution or Max Resolution for straight video. Set your Output Folder, format and quality settings and export.
Slot Setting

Slot settings let's you directly manipulate every piece of the model. Disable bits and pieces and getting to the underdrawn bits you normally don't get to see, or get rid of a pesky piece of clothing covering a clearly drawn panty shot. Remember to switch between Chauchang and other animations as some of those buttons may only affect the transition pieces. The rest is trial and error. And should you reach a point where you can no longer contain your excitement. You can always directly edit the Texture2D files directly and make your own "adjustments".

Spine-Viewer-Vue (Sunsetted)
Quick Note
This viewer is trickier to navigate but has features the above is missing. Can make transparencies, can set custom backgrounds, can cycle animations better. The trade off is everything is dependent on the window size of the application, which I will cover below. The UI is also a bit clunky, and you cant save your projects so you need to redo everything from scratch when recreating a project.
Click the "Choose File" button on the top left and locate your Compile Folder's path and select the .skel file.
Everything should load into place

The animation shouldn't be playing. You can click on any of the options in the Anim box to start the animation, but we will discuss this later. First thing's first, in order to get your ideal canvas size, 1920x1080 in this case, you have to physically resize the window to that resolution. When resizing the window, the canvas size will appear in the top left and you can stretch the screen to the desired resolution.
The Top Right numbers is the location of the Live2D model on the canvas. After stretching the window, press the Reset Pos button to reset and center the model. It should be roughly around X:960 Y:540, but you may adjust this to your own preferences later.

Warning
Keep in mind that if you collapse the left side bar, it will stretch the canvas further to the left and enlarge the size. Just keep that left side bar open at all times. The right side bar does not have this issue if you want to close it while working.
This application supports transparencies (for images only, unless you somehow get this to support MP4 in H265 on your own) and custom backgrounds. We will set the background now, go to Set BG and select a file of your choosing, or use this fast mock up of the generic Hero UI BG here.

Lastly, go back to the Anim window and press the + button on the animations to queue them and use Play queue to autoplay the queued list. This will also be the playlist cycle order when exporting to video.
Warning
It came to my attention that clicking the "pause animation" button will permanently stop the animations from playing until you restart the application. Don't press it. Let the animation stop on its own when using the queue function, and if you just clicked the animation in the anim box, click it again and it will stop and restart back at the beginning.
Once you made your adjustments or slot modifications, go to the right side bar and click Export Anim (or Save Image).
You will have a simple window to select format and FPS and where to export.
Warning
While exporting the video, DO NOT MINIMIZE THE WINDOW! It needs to be open to properly render out the animation. You can open windows on top of it but the application must remain open through the entire duration of the rendering. You also cant stop the rendering when you click export, in cases that you spotted a mistake. You will need to wait it out, so slow down and double check everything before continuing.
Final result should look something like this with your choice of character.
Slot Setting
As with the previous player, slot settings lets you directly manipulate every piece of the model. Disable bits and pieces and getting to the underdrawn bits you normally don't get to see, or get rid of a pesky piece of clothing covering a clearly drawn panty shot. The UI for the Slot options is pretty bad but at least you get a keyword filter to search for specific settings if you jotted them down before hand or someone else listed some settings. There is also an oversight where if you play an animation
Its best to do this first on Spine Viewer, save the workflow there and jot down what you liked, and then come back here and flip the switches to export.
Warning
I became aware of another annoying oversight, if you flip your slot switches but then play an animation from the anim or queue window, it will reset all your settings. Do your canvas sizing, backgrounding, and animation queuing in the window first, then flip your slots switches and click Export anim and it will apply your settings. Make all your animation previews on Spine Viewer first instead of on Vue.

God damn what did she do in that time skip between Sheila and joining the Bathory Clan?
