Guide to Unlocking Unisoc powered Infinix devices Bootloader
Part 1: Preparation
- Install Drivers: Begin by installing the necessary drivers for your Unisoc powered Infinix device on your PC. You can download the Universal ADB Driver Setup from this link.
- Unpack Unlocking Archive: Download it from here and extract the archive. You can extract it anywhere convenient for you.
- Backup Data: Prioritize data security by creating backups of all essential data stored on your device.
- Activate Developer Mode:
- Go to "Settings" on your device.
- Tap on "About phone" and locate the "Build number."
- Tap on "Build number" multiple times until you see a message confirming the activation of Developer Mode.
- Navigate to "System > Developer options" and enable "OEM unlocking."
Part 2: Bootloader Unlock Procedure
- Connect Device: Connect your Unisoc powered Infinix device to your PC using a working USB cable. Do not connect the cable to the phone just yet.
- Shutdown Device: Completely power off your device.
- Run Unlock Script:
- Run the "unlock_emmc.bat" script on your PC.
- While holding down the volume down button on your device, connect it to the PC using the USB cable.
- Follow Command Line Prompts:
- Pay attention to the command line prompts. If prompted to enter "yes," do so.
- If instructed to press any button, follow the command accordingly.
- Ignore prompts to enter "ctrl + C" and allow the unlocking process to complete uninterrupted.
- Completion and Recovery:
- Once the unlocking process finishes, the command line will close automatically.
- If the device becomes unresponsive, perform a hard reset by pressing the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.
- Access recovery mode and perform a data wipe to ensure a clean start.
- Post-Unlock Status: After successful unlocking, a warning indicating the bootloader's unlock status may appear in the upper corner each time the device is started.
