Roasting

Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is pleasant on the palate. It softens and transforms into a warm hug to your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa brings citrus hints to the balance. The result is a cup which can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges well.

When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. After making the coffee, let it sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds have been filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger. Do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.

Strength - 3 is a little softer and easygoing, perfect for lazy weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast with a sweet scent of cocoa and citrus. 1 kg coffee beans has a silky, caressing mouthfeel. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to the days of winter spent on the sofa, reading a good book and a warm family hug. Make sure to heat your French Press by using water that has not yet reached the boiling point. This will stop the coffee from becoming over extracted and causing undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that just boiled. Then, after four minutes, you can take a take a plunge, and then enjoy.
