Roasting

Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy to taste. It mellows and becomes a warm hug to your senses. The cocoa bean from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew, while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a cup that is delicious by itself, or paired with cake or milk chocolate. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.

When brewing 1kg coffee beans recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brewing. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are saturated and not over extracted. The water is then forced through the grounds by the plunger, but do not stir or stir the coffee, as this can cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.

Strength - 3, gentle and easy to go, great for relaxing on the weekend.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a soft light roast that has a sweet, citrus and cocoa aroma. It has a smooth mouthfeel that sooths the palate. The cocoa-like hints can be traced to the days of winter sitting on the sofa reading a good book and the warmth of a hug from the family. Pre-heat your French Press by using water that isn't at boiling point. This will stop the coffee from becoming over extracted and creating undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds along with 250ml of water that has just boiled. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge and relax.
