After 60 years at Queensland's Noosa, the nude beach games, which include egg and spoon races, sack races and three-legged races, were held at Byron Bay for the first time on Saturday.
Organiser Cheryl Bridge said it was an important event on the naturist calendar.
"It brings everybody together once a year and we have laughs, fun, and we get to meet more naturist people and more friends," she said.

Apart from the fun and games, the Australian Naturist Federation said the event was also an opportunity to discuss issues that affected their community.
A stretch of beach between Byron Bay's Belongil and Tyagarah was declared 'clothing optional' by the local council in 1998, but a group of local residents have been calling for that status to be revoked after recent sex assaults in the area.
Naturist Chris Dobney said he shared the residents' safety concerns, but he has started a petition to keep the beach clothing optional.
"I do want to emphasise the people doing those assaults are not naturists
