How to set up lanplay for retards:
What is lanplay?
It's a way to play pirated games online with other hacked switches, the catch is that it uses local wireless only.
Step 1:
-Open your switch and go to system settings
-go to internet and go to change your settings
IMPORTANT: make sure you're either using exosphere to block your switch's serial, 90 DNS or both before going online or your ass is getting banned. Don't be a retard.
-if you don't know what exosphere is (you should) if you follow this guide you'll be using 90DNS, so don't worry about it.
Change your network to the following:
Primary DNS: 163.172.141.219
Secondary DNS: 207.246.121.77
IP Address: 010.013.XX.YY (XX and YY can be any number from 1-255 except 37 or 1)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.000.000
Gateway: 010.013.037.001
Step 2:
-download WinPcap drivers for windows:
https://www.winpcap.org/install/bin/WinPcap_4_1_3.exe
-download the lanplay.exe:
https://github.com/spacemeowx2/switch-lan-play/releases/download/v0.2.3/lan-play-win64.exe
-download the latest Idn_mitm:
https://github.com/spacemeowx2/ldn_mitm/releases
-download lanplay GUI (the win version for windows obviously):
https://github.com/takashi1kun/lan-play-GUI/releases/tag/v1.3.0
-you should also download Tesla so you can turn Idn_mitm off easily:
https://github.com/WerWolv/Tesla-Menu/releases/tag/v1.2.0
https://github.com/WerWolv/nx-ovlloader/releases/tag/v1.0.6
(yes you need to install both for Tesla to work)
-And this is obvious but make sure you're using the latest Atmosphere and Hekate. (If you're running S&V you should be using this already.)
Step 3:
Pc set up:
-Install WinPcap_4_1_3.exe (if you're prompted to download a newer version just say yes)
-restart your PC if it says to
-unpack the lan-play-GUI-win64.1.3.0.rar into a folder
-place the lan-play-win64.exe into that folder
-make sure lan-play-GUI.exe and lan-play-win64.exe are in the same folder
-run lan-play-GUI.exe as administrator
-if it doesn't open you fucked up one of the steps above
-click add server
-add the following servers to your list (you don't need to put in a name or country):
joinsg.net:11453
trey.ddns.net:11451
-you are done with PC set up
Switch set up:
-open your switch's SD card via any method you want
-open nx-ovlloader.zip, drag its contents onto the SD
-open ovlmenu.zip, drag its contents onto the SD
-open Idn_mitm_v1.14.0.zip, drag its contents onto the SD
-put the SD card back into the switch
-enter your emunand
-if your switch crashes, make sure your Atmosphere and Hekate are up to date
-once your home menu loads enter in this button command: L + Down pad + R Stick
-Tesla menu should now be open
-scroll to Idn_mitm on the list
-press A and ensure Idn_mitm is ON
-if it isn't, turn it on and restart the system
-after restart check it again and make sure it's ON
-keep pressing B until you exit the Tesla menu
-you are done with switch set up
Final step:
-open lan-play-GUI.exe
-pick a server and connect to it
-open your internet settings in your switch and connect to the new network you made in step 1
-open game and connect to local wireless
-play video games
troubleshooting:
-It's not working, it's laggy
Make sure whoever you're playing with isn't using the same IP Address numbers you picked out
If it's too laggy get rid of 90DNS and use exosphere only (if you don't know what this is, go into your switch SD, look up exosphere.ini and open with Notepad++. Read the documentation inside it and follow the instructions. If you didn't fuck it up your switch serial should now be blanked.) You don't need to use 90DNS with this enabled.
-the game crashes when connecting to local wireless
Make sure you're connected to a server when Idn_mitm is on. If you try to use local wireless in a game with Idn_mitm on the game will error code or crash. If you want to use local wireless normally you need to turn Idn_mitm off and restart the system. If the game crashes even with Idn_mitm on and connected to a server, you're not actually connected to the server, make sure you're running lan-play-GUI.exe as administrator.
