Reijo Bond Story 2
R: You're visiting the Black Tortoise company today, right?
S: Yeah, pretty excited.
R: Glad to hear that. I'm getting nervous when you put it that way though.
S: S-sorry.
R: There's no need to apologise.
R: It's certainly better than coming in with no expectations.
R: This is especially true for a chef.
R: Well then Sensei.
R: I shall see you soon.
R: Did it meet your expectations, Sensei?
S: It was the best!/Next time I'd like to try your personal cooking, Reijo.
R: Excellent.
R: Come back anytime.
Black Tortoise Company Member: Reijo, it looks like some stores still aren't stocked!
R: Hm. Which ones?
Black Tortoise Company Member: The Kyokabo section!
R: I see.
Black Tortoise Company Member: W-what should we do? At this rate we won't have enough for lunch...!
R: For the time being, bring some ingredients from the main store's warehouse.
R: It should suffice for a few hours.
R: We'll call two trucks from the Tianxing Building on 3rd Street, Hongzheng Road.
R: Leave the call to me.
R: After that, calculate and report the cost of the ingredients after closing.
Black Tortoise Company Member: Roger that!
R: Sigh, we managed somehow.
Customer: So this is the famous Black Tortoise Company...
Customer: Hey~! Bring me your tastiest dish!
Black Tortoise Company Member: Um, that would be...
R: ...!
R: Firstly, your seat. Come right this way.
R: Thank you for your patronage.
R: This is what we recommend. What do you think of it?
Customer: Ah, so that's what this menu's about?
R: It's not our usual menu, it's a special set for guests.
Black Tortoise Company Member: This is the first time I'm hearing about it though...
R: It's fine, just adjust it a bit.
Customer: Is there a problem over there?
R: Not at all, I was merely checking the ingredients. We shall serve you a course of abalone themed dishes.
Customer: Ooh! Sounds yummy!
Black Tortoise Company Member: Y, you sure we can just go ahead with this!?
R: He did say to bring him our "tastiest dish"
R: And if we serve cheap food, he might get angry.
R: Now then, I shall be back with your dish.
R: (whispering to mob)Inform the manager ASAP.
Black Tortoise Company Member: Roger!
R: Sigh. Why is it busy now out of all days?
???: I'm saying that I DID pay for it!
Black Tortoise Company Member: But...
Customer B: Are you tryna make me pay double!?
R: What's the problem here?
Customer B: I paid the bill through the app, but I was told the payment wasn't processed!
Customer B: Is this how the Black Tortoise Company acts towards customers?
Black Tortoise Company Member: No, thats...
R: If we made a mistake, we sincerely apologise.
R: Before that however, may we check the app's payment history and security cameras?
R: We need accurate information
Customer B: wha-
R: We can give you the needed details right away.
R: Give us but 5 minutes to review the security camera footage.
Customer B: Umm~ actually, the payment might have slipped my mind.
Customer B: So, there's no need to check the cameras...
R: We can't. There musn't be any mistakes.
R: And of course, this conversation too was recorded on camera.
Customer B: R-recorded!?
R: Your face looks pale... is there something wrong?
Customer B: Oh, not at all!
R: Apologies for showing you something unsightly.
S: Your efficiency was impressive.
R: W-what's with the sudden praise?
R: I'm not troubled by it, of course.
R: This type of incident is a common occurrence.
R: ...It's just that, there was more than usual today.
R: The main event hasn't even started yet...
S: Is there still more?
R: Well, you see...
R: We are scheduled to be visited by kids from Plum Blossom Garden.
R: it's rather embarrassing to admit this...
R: But I'm not too sure how to interact with children.
S: It is a rather complicated problem.
R: So even you think so.
R: Kindergarteners are small and innocent, but some may be a bit cheeky. You never know what's going to happen.
R: Eh. So you shall be lending your assistance?
R: I see. I shall follow your lead then.
R: Thank you very much. Sensei.
Kindergartener A: Sensei- This squid looks like a flower!
S: Strange, isn't it?
Kindergartener B: What's an Octopus sausage?
Kindergartener B: Is it an Octopus? Or a sausage?
S: It's a sausage shaped like an octopus.
Kindergartener B: I wanna try eating it!
Kindergartener B: We only get broccoli and pepper fried rice back at Plum Blossom...
R: It seems Sensei is skilled in the art of caring for children.
R: If you don't mind, are there any tips you can give?
S: I don't exactly have any tips, but.../It's not like there were any problems to begin with.
R: There were never any... problems?
R: ...I suppose it's true that at times all you need to do is listen to their problems...
R: Thank you for you advice. Sensei.
S: Wanna try?
R: ...Yes. it is my job after all.
Kindergartener C: I love shrimp dumplings!
Kindergartener C: But I also love pork buns!
Kindergartener C: I also like pan fried gyoza and deep-fried gyoza! And gyoza with lots of filling too!
R: You love your gyoza, don't you.
Kindergartener C: Ah. But, I don't really like seaweed dumplings...
R: Is that really a type of dumpling?
Kindergartener D: I don't like seeing more people eating outside. It means people no longer have the type to cook.
Kindergartener D: We eat outside to save time, but we use that time for work anyways.
Kindergartener D: Even if you're a higher up, you are wrapped up in the problem regardless... because the system made in such a way that it is unavoidable.
R: Um, is there something wrong?
Kindergartener D: The fact that there is no problem is what's making me sad.
R: It seems we're finished...
R: It got a bit hectic when the kids started clinging to me and played hide-and seek in the store, but...
S: That just means they like you.
R: Yeah, they did ask to play again one day.
R: No matter how many time it's said, the phrase [See you] never fails to warm my heart.
R: It was rather strange
R: Thank you. Sensei.
S: I didn't do anything particularly special.
R: That may be how you see it, but to me, it was certainly very helpful.
R: I shall be looking forward to your continued guidance.
