Black Void

Looking down upon a bottomless pit;
An entrance into the abyss,
So large, vast and dark
In where everything that falls in is lost.
An open sea of darkness;
A hole with nothing else seen
But pure black darkness
In which no one returns alive.

Black eyes, staring into that dark, endless hole,
For it, it stares back to me, that eerie yet comforting feeling enveloping me
That one odd feeling of comfort, something that never really visits me,
It's empty melancholy that longs for more wrapping around my mind.
Surely, it is strange, for such darkness to be so comforting
Comforting enough to put me into a hazy sleep,
In a sleepy daze in where I sink so deep
Deep enough that I become one with this kind darkness.

Looking up from within this bottomless pit,
The light shines softly as it soon becomes darkness
Within this darkness in where I sit,
Is a place I now live comfortably.
In this open sea of darkness,
In where I slowly sink into the bottom
Even though I have lost my mind,
After lingering in the realistic world which turned everyone blind

No one will care about me,
They didn't know that they could see
They couldn't see this person lost in the darkness,
And so, they let me be.
I guess they couldn't hear,
My cries and pleads when I fell in,
Swallowed whole by fear
"Please! Anyone! Don't leave me here!"

Ignorance surely was bliss,
Not knowing the harsh cold realities of life,
Curiosity killed the cat, and I was the cat,
Although, the light is something I low-key miss.
But hey, at least I have a place;
A nice, dark and comforting place
Although it is very lonely here,
I don't mind at all.

Within this bottomless pit,
In where I sit
In this dark abyss
In which I now call a home,
In this dark sea they call the Black Void.
