NOTE: This assumes you've installed diffeomorphic properly in both Blender and Daz.

This is a no-bullshit tutorial as simple as possible.
Made for those that dont care about all that nerd shit and just want that model in Blender so you can animate with it.
If you know of a better way for certain things, feel free to DM me.

DAZ MODEL SETUP

For this tutorial I will just use the basic Genesis 8 female.
Use whatever model you prefer, the concept is the same.

1.
Load your model into the scene in Daz.

NOTE: This is where you tweak and shape shift your model into the beautiful starlet it was meant to be.

2.
Select Genesis 8 Female, then in the PARAMETERS tab, Scroll down to RESOLUTION LEVEL.

3.
Set RESOLUTION LEVEL to Base, set SUBDIVISION LEVEL and RENDER SUBD to 0.

NOTE: Reason for this is some models will end up not converting their subdivision over to blender. You will get faces on top of faces if Diffeomorphic doesnt convert it right. Its generally safer to just turn it all off for every model in my experience. I just add a subdivision modifier after in blender if I want.

4.
Save your scene in whatever "Daz to Blender" folder you prefer. I called this model, TestModel.duf.

NOTE: I used those Scene Save Options just to. Dont think it has any benefit other than a cleaner import.

5.
Next use the EXPORT TO BLENDER option in the FILE menu and save the .dbz file with the SAME NAME.
In this case its TestModel.dbz. You can use the export to blender script also if you prefer, no difference.

IMPORTING INTO BLENDER

6.
In blender > DAZ Import > use these GLOBAL SETTINGS unless you have your own preference.

NOTE: Works for me. Mainly focusing on Eevee. If youre using cycles, you can change the material settings to BSDF but I prefer extended principled for texture conversion (will explain later).

7.
Use EASY IMPORT DAZ, Select TestModel.duf with these settings.

NOTE: IT WILL TAKE A WHILE TO IMPORT. Blender may be unresponsive, just wait.

8.
After its done, this is where you can basically import your custom morphs, prep work, cleanup etc. Thats for a later time, ignore it. Depending on your Daz addons, it will also come with expressions and visemes too.

NOTE: I recommend SAVING this scene before you make any changes!

9.
Select the RIG, in the DAZ IMPORT options, open RIGGING, and select CONVERT TO RIGIFY with these settings.

NOTE: You can use MHX if you want a performance hit or Simple IK if you want to use Daz's bones like a sadist but I prefer Rigify.

10.
Move your model around. IF the knees bend inward, UNDO till before the conversion. Then convert to rigify again but ALSO check OPTIMIZE POSE FOR IK, its right above AUTO ALIGN HAND/FOOT.

NOTE: This will add a shapekey called ARMATURE SKINBINDING that will fix that IK issue. Just ignore it and leave it on for all of eternity. Hasnt affected me yet.

DONE.

Thats how I get a most basic model into blender.
