Raid Information

[Strongly Recommended] Read or watch the guide to learn the raid:

The raid has had some changes to be less RNG-dependent. The Accuracy+Stability DEBUFF was replaced with a 50% damage reduction BUFF while in cover with a tradeoff of being unable to evade. Missiles have been changed for consistency (described below).

Raid TL;DR

Most Lunatic clears are split into two teams. You can, on certain runs, try and view it as a 2 phase approach, which means you can find a team from one video for a team 1 and then, in case you lack the students for the second part, simply find another video with a team 2 that starts off where team 1 left off health bar wise.

  • Binah has 2 special attacks (Laser and Missiles) and 1 ATG attack (Sandstorm). It will do Laser-Laser-Missile, with Sandstorms shoved in between whenever the ATG gauge (3 yellow boxes below the hp bar) fills.
    • Laser will target the closest student and continue in a straight line. On TOR, it will leave a lingering DoT for 15 seconds. On LUN, it's 2 minutes but will disappear on groggy state.
    • Missiles will do significant damage to all students. It's now changed so that closer students take more damage and ONLY targets your strikers.
    • Sandstorm also does significant damage to all students and decreases DEF by 50%. The ATG gauge now fills on ALL phases.
  • Binah has 3 phases. Each phase has its own location. Phase 2 (at 30M/13.8M/4.62M) is a walking transition and 3 (at 12.5M/5.75M/1.925M) is a cutscene transition. On phase transition, Binah will not accrue groggy gauge.
  • Groggy requires 10M/6.5M/2.31M of Yellow damage. It can be used to cancel attacks. In LUN, all students also receive a 600 cost recovery buff for 10 seconds.
  • Binah has 7200/6800/5000 DEF for a 81%/80%/75% DR, so DEF reduction is critical here.

Cleanup Teams

  • If you have her built, S.Ayane is excellent for cleanup so long as you've got a striker tank like Haruka or Eimi capable of surviving the whole battle.
  • Utaha is also serviceable for cleanup, but she doesn't have the inherent armor piercing that S.Ayane does. She's Heavy armor, so don't drop turrets into an AoE. Again, you'll need a striker tank to keep the battle going.
  • Any other students you've built for miss Hovercraft will likely be usable here as well.
