Dubai Airport Prepares for Passenger Influx

Dubai International Airport is preparing to handle more than 3 million passengers.

Dubai International Airport is gearing up for the peak season, with the airport set to handle 3.6 million passengers over the long weekend. The busy period will run from April 2 to 15, with the busiest day being April 13, when passenger traffic is expected to rise to almost 300,000.

Dubai Airports works with airlines and other partners to provide passengers with a smooth experience. On average, the airport will serve 258,000 travelers daily.

Emirates passengers are advised to check in at home or at one of the city counters, while Flydubai passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 4 hours before departure.

It is also recommended to use smart turnstiles to speed up the passport control procedure. All passengers should prepare the necessary documents in advance and familiarize themselves with the rules of the destination before leaving for the airport.

Baggage should be weighed at home and prepared for inspection. Spare phone chargers and power supplies for electronic devices should be placed in hand luggage. It is recommended to travel to the airport by metro.
