Dog fight
We bite each other like ravenous dogs
My lungs fill with air and my heart is set on fire
The rage in your rabid dog eyes
I've felt the same going 90 in the rain
My throat fills with words i can’t say
Trees pass in a blur, i feel alive
“I love you”
Mercy
It sat pale white under the storm-soaked leaves in the cold wet thick air. A pounding pulsating panic fills its lungs. It wasn’t afraid of death or God. It was the eyes. They saw the rot, the decay hidden in its belly. Its knees are infused with metal, bones of steel like a doll. Stuck in the mud like flies on meat. The knife laid in the dead leaves isn't what makes blood congeal, it's the guts inside placed on the ground as if rolls of lace. Eyes closed and shaking palms, a sharp hum pierces the air and a gasp leaves its lungs. The grass feels soft and warm, reminiscent of home; lead leaking in its chest. This isn’t a merciful god, this is life. Open belly, parasites and bones exposed, stench of rust and rot filling the air. Divinity, standing above me now. Merciful, Wrath, Nature. Watching the organism with disdain. Left open and seen, the sting of reality hits like poison to the brain. As the blood infects the flesh and hunger fills its worm filled stomach once more before death intoxicates the consciousness. La Petite Mort.
God must be deaf
Nails clawing at my throat, screams leave my lungs
The holes in the walls echo my name
The blankets on my legs mimic hands
There is no one in the world beside me
and I am left without a God to hold me
Kuzu
Bury me where the leaves draws blood
Where my papa calls for me and the woods sing your sins
Where the water runs green
Where i can finally rest my tired body and heavy soul
Bury me where the sun scorches the earth
Where the smell of beer lingers on the skin
In your womb, between your legs
Heaven within the sin
