1. About Me

My name is Rose. And that isn't just a name to me it's a way of seeing the world.
Everyone I've ever known, I think of as a rose. My friends, my family, the people I work beside, the ones who pass through briefly and the ones who stay. Each of them growing, each of them becoming. And the spaces we share the places we hang out, the jobs we show up to, the corners of the world where we let ourselves rest or laugh or just exist alongside each other those are the gardens. Every rose has one. Some gardens are wild and overgrown. Some are carefully tended. Some are just a windowsill with enough light to survive.
And like any rose, we are made of more than one thing.
The petals are what you show the world your softness, your color, the version of yourself that faces outward. The stem is your timeline, your history, every season you've lived through that made you taller and more certain of the ground beneath you. And the thorns the thorns are the parts we don't talk about as easily. The bad habits. The wounds that never healed right. The patterns we carry without meaning to. The things that catch on people when they get too close.

Here's what I believe, down to my roots: if you want to be picked if you want someone to choose you, to hold you, to keep you close — the thorns have to go. Not because you owe anyone a painless version of yourself. But because you deserve to be held without hurting the people who reach for you. And they deserve to reach without bleeding.
I am still growing. Still working on my thorns. But I know what I'm tending toward.

These movies will always hold a special place in my heart. They take the supernatural ghosts, demons, things meant to terrify and twist them into something playful and absurd. There’s power in that. They remind me that fear loses its grip the moment you learn how to laugh at it. Instead of being consumed by darkness, you shrink it. You own it.

A film that quietly dismantles the comfort of everyday life. It exposes how fragile our sense of freedom really is, and forces you to ask an unsettling question: what if the life you’re living was designed to keep you contained?

A world where pain and pleasure collapse into one another. The Cenobites aren’t just monsters they’re explorers of sensation, proof that the pursuit of ultimate pleasure can rot into agony. The hooks, chains, and torn flesh aren’t empty shock they’re symbols of indulgence without restraint, of desire devouring itself. It’s grotesque, yes, but also hypnotic. Like staring into the abyss and realizing it’s offering both transcendence and torment.
