⋆・゚ No Sight Of Love

And after years passed, Jenesis started to go to see Nebula less, of course didn't forget about her, just felt like it'd be better. Most afternoons, Jenesis went out at sunset, she wouldn't be able to go out in the morning because her skin was sensitive to the sunlight. To do the same thing, Jenesis went to the seaside close to the border. It was her favorite place, she was dancing there, reminding herself the old moves she learned, with the sand and slow waves, she enjoyed the sound of it and the slight sunlight which was slowly disappearing, it was very relaxing for her. She felt someone staring at her, for the first time. . .

"Who are you?"

Jenesis asked, with a soft tone and a slightly smiling face.

"Just a guy wondering around, pardon me if i interrupted."

The man said, it was the Gentleman Ghost, Jim Craddock. Jenesis wanted him to come near and he did so.. Then, she offered him to dance together.

"What's your name, mister?"

She asked, keeping her slow and gentle moves infront of the low sunlight. Gentleman found her really gorgeous from closer. He knew she was blind, because he recognized who she was. He didn't really introduce himself as the "Ghost", so he just answered shortly;

"You can call me Jim" but he didn't ask the same question to her.

Jenesis nodded and kept talking;
"Jim, a nice name." she chuckled slightly, "I guess you know my name already."

Gentleman chuckled with her too, "Yes, ma'am, i do. It's such a suprising moment to see someone as you in such a place."

The woman stayed quiet for a while, just as she was lost in thoughts or the sounds, she was focused, too. . .

"Do you come here often? If its alright for me to ask." Gentleman asked, keeping his looks on the woman.

"Yes, i do, why do you ask?" Jenesis said, slightly getting slower with her moves.

Well, Gentleman didn't really have a proper reason, but he felt like there must be something to answer.

"You just seemed lonely to me, maybe i was just curious."

Jenesis chuckled once again, stopping the dance moves and getting ready to leave. "You could come by if you'd like."

Gentleman didn't say anything, he just walked close to Jenesis and offered to help her. Jenesis agreed and Gentleman walked with her close to the palace, then left. That was their first meeting, it kinda affected Ghost, the woman was interesting and he wondered more about her, or maybe there was other ideas he got. Now, he was coming by more often, just to have a chat or hang out with her. Ghost wanted to take Batman down, so maybe he could use Jenesis to achieve this, too, only if he knew what would happen. . .
They talked, a lot, they were getting close day by day. Maybe Gentleman was the first one to catch feelings, but he couldn't confess anything, he just didn't want to, it would be opposite of his thoughts, and he was a ghost after all, why would Jenesis want to be with a Ghost? But, Jenesis took the first step, and well, she confessed,

"I don't know what attracts me so much, but, i love you, Jim."

Gentleman wasn't expecting that, not even a little. And that was the time he decided to tell her about who he actually was.

"No, you can't love me, it's not possible." He said, with an odd tone than before.

"Why so?" Jenesis asked, wondering about this all.

"Because I'm a ghost, Jenesis. Maybe you've heard about me before, Jim Craddock, known as Gentleman Ghost, too."

Jenesis chuckled, and tried to move closer to him with a bright smile on her face;

"Love is not about looks or anything, i don't have to see to fall. Even if i had my sight back, I'd still fall for you, Jim, you just need to believe." and then she added "I wish you told me that before, were you scared?"

Gentleman held her hand after staying quiet for a few seconds.

"No, i wasn't scared, i just never thought about this."

Then, Jenesis tried to hug Gentleman;

"About what?" She asked.

"Just, you and me, im not sure about it, you just seem too perfect to me, would this even work?"

Jenesis didn't take a long time to answer, she turned her back, the wind was making her hair wave so perfectly.

"We can't know without trying, can we?" She said and turned back to Gentleman, her eyes were open for the first time. And then she kept talking; "None of us is perfect, its all just in our hands, Jim."

The words of Jenesis was affecting Gentleman, a lot, which made him have deep emotions for her, she was just different from the other people he has met. They both decided to try this out, and then the Ghost moved to the palace of Jenesis, too, didn't always stay, but mostly was there. Not everyone knew about Jenesis and Ghost, but they were known around the palace. After a while they were kinda known outside, too. When Jenesis learned of Ghost's desire to end Batman, she decided to help him about that, and they both started to search about how that could end. . .
