An All-Out Multi-target Attack! Part 1

(Ryukishi, Flying Force, Yako, Capture Cloth, Arcangel)

I.

Inigo looked at the school entrance with a sly grin on his face. The sun was shining, and the sky was a clear blue. He had decided that this week was the week he would try to charm every girl in his class. He was determined to find a girlfriend, and what better place to start than with the lovely ladies of his own class in 1-D? Gigan, a tiny green dragon, cheered him on with mews; it knew it was futile to try and stop Inigo now. For the past week, he's been reading every romance manga he could get his hands on and watching over fifty pick-up videos on the net. He's had to ignore several urgent calls from his crime family, but this is what truly matters.

II. Kaylee (Flying Force)

(LOST IN THE CCONTROL FIRE - Rewritten Version)
Inigo spotted Kaylee flying near the school sports field. He marveled as he watched her. She was tall, strong and beautiful. He was tall, strong, and beautiful. Together their kids would win medals for Japan. This was his chance!

"Alright, just like we practiced!" With a confident grin, Gigan transformed into draconic plating around his chest, green segmented wings sprouted from his back. Gigan's wings needed a lot of room but he'll make do. He flew upwards, approaching Kaylee mid-flight.

"Yo!"

As he got closer, Kaylee used her hand to shield her face from the sun.

"Oh it's you. Myoga."

"It's Inigo, babe! But you can call me whatever you want," he replied with a wink. "Mind if I join you?" Kaylee seemed to ignore him at first, focused on her own flight patterns.

Inigo grinned. "How bout' a race, you're not scared are ya?" He challenged with a wink.

That got her attention. He could see the competitive fire in her green eyes. Kaylee nodded and the two took their marks, flying around the library building as students watched from the windows and grounds.

"Ready...set...go!" Inigo called out as they blasted off. Kaylee shot forward like a bullet, her speed impressive. But Inigo wasn't about to be outdone.
"C'mon buddy, help me out and I'll donate to charity!" He told Gigan. The small dragon let out a chirp as Inigo's wings expanded, propelling him even faster in hot pursuit.

"You look exotic! So where are you from? L-let's get to know each other!" Inigo called out. Kaylee kicked it into an even higher gear.

Letting out a whistle, Inigo pushed Gigan harder to catch up once more, a second pair of wings grew on his legs. "How about after this, we go get something to eat? My treat!" He gave her a roguish grin.

Kaylee narrowed her eyes and accelerated even more. But Inigo found himself inching closer, close enough that if he reached out... He could almost touch her.

"How bout' a relaxing after-race massage, just the two of us?" He wriggled his fingers. Almost there.

Kaylee shot towards the ground, she then sharply cut upwards at the last second. Swooping majesticly in the sky. Inigo stared. Whoa! She's amazing!

CRAAAACCK!!

The sudden maneuver caused Inigo's construct wings to rattle violently before shattering apart. Inigo crashed into a tree. Still dazed, fell backwards into the tree's roots, branches and leaves raining down around him. If not for Gigan's armor, he would have been seriously injured.

Kaylee was speeding around the hero course building. How was she even faster now? He's gonna need to work on his flying. He let out a dreamy sigh and watched Kaylee's athletic form disappear into the distance. He grinned. "Yeah...I think she likes me. I'll get her next time."

III. Chihiro Mitsurugi (Yako)

Inigo walked the school halls trying to find Chihiro. She was always very quiet and contemplative. Given all the rumors flying around about her, he wondered if she was a villain like him. He needed a way to get inside her head and figure out how to win her heart. He liked staring and getting lost in her red eyes whenever she zoned out. Did she think about her family? Inigo had trained himself not to think about what his brothers did. All the blood.. The screams.. Inigo snapped out of it as Gigan pecked at his forehead. "Ow. What's up?"

Gigan pointed its head towards a girl standing in the empty cafeteria. It was Chihiro, and she looked like she was checking the trash bins? Was someone in there? Maybe he's seeing things.

Inigo walked toward her and adjusted his swagger. "Hey Yako! There you are."

Did she hear him? She turns her head away, looking out the window. He smirked. She must be playing cool. Okay, I get it.

Inigo stopped in front of her and started his practiced pitch. "So I noticed you fight with a sword. There's this museum exhibit next week on ancient Japanese blades. It's dope. They have a model copy of the Honjo Masamune and Onimaru Kunitsuna." As he spoke, Gigan changed shape in front of him into crude copies of the subject.

He held out a flyer. "There are many types of weapons and armor on display, showing the different styles that the Samurai created and used throughout their history. A large selection of the swords are from Japan's Edo period, over three hundred years old.

He paused for effect and noticed she hadn't said anything. She's entranced. Could this be it? His love story can begin.

"There's an exhibit on the Momoyama Period, where trends changed from longer swords to shorter, uchigatana swords."

Chihiro tilts her head to the side.

"There's even a blade forging demonstration; all that, and I just happen to have two tickets!"

He got on one knee and held them out like flowers.

"You wanna give me your number so we can go? Let's make it a date. Just you and me."

Chihiro finally turned around. Time slowed down for Inigo, as the breeze from the open window brushed her silken hair and cherry blossoms floated by, complimenting her crimson gaze.

"...Sorry, what? Inigo. No, thank you. I have to go now." Chihiro walks away.

Inigo froze in place with his head down. A dark rain cloud floated above his head. He had lost the battle. He said the pitch perfectly, but she wasn't interested. He really has to stop buying these tickets before the date.

Bobby and Hifumi walked past the cafeteria entrance and glanced at Inigo.

"What's wrong with him?"

"He struck out again. He'll bounce back."

"There he goes."

Inigo walked into the hall and nodded to them.

"Good luck on the next one."

"Thanks, man, but I don't need it." Inigo grinned and half-raised a manly fist as he ran towards the next girl. "I'm marching towards my destiny!"

IV. Yui Sagara (Capture Cloth)

It was half past noon in Shiketsu High School. Inigo hummed as he wandered the halls along Yui's normal route. He checked his notebook. Yui Sagara, also known as Capture Cloth. He didn't have much information on her. She was held back a year, and she didn't get along with most people in the class. He heard rumors that she used to be a villain. Is that why people avoid her? He remembered riding along with his brothers and seeing the scared judgmental looks people gave him. Maybe they can understand each other.

He could imagine it already. They'd be two lovers caught behind enemy lines. He started to daydream. Plus those curves and that body. Who can resist that. He'd have to get more info and approach her slowl-

Suddenly, the room went dark. As he rounded the corner, he was caught in something soft and round. He felt around. His face was pressed against..

"Sagara-san! Listen!" He took a step back, panicking. He blurted out the first thing in his head. "Would you like to go on a date?"

Yui snarled. "No! What the hell?! You damn pervert!"

Her quirk activated. Ribbons flew towards Inigo and smacked him into a wall.

Inigo groaned on the floor and looked up to his small flying dragon. Gigan had seen fit not to help this time.

The bell rang, and Yui ran off stomping. She seemed madder than usual. From the floor, he saw pieces of something scattered across the corridor getting crushed by passing students.

"Wait! Yui!" Inigo ran down the street to catch the white-haired girl.

Yui grimaced and turned around. She stood there, arms crossed, glaring. "What do you want, Inigo?"

Inigo shot her an apologetic look. "I'm sorry about before, in the hallway-"

Yui waved her hand. "I'm not gonna keep attacking you. Just get the hell away from me!"

She muttered something under her breath as she turned and walked away.

"It's cat food, right? I made you drop cat food. Premium ones."

Yui stopped.

"I had trouble finding the right one, so it took me awhile." Gigan mewed and flew forward, holding a shopping bag in his mouth. "You have a cat, right? Is it a special occasion?"

Yui turned and side-eyed him suspiciously. "Yeah. So?"

"Just thought it was cool. Also, I wanted to tell you that I wasn't scared of you before." He put his hands behind his head. "I just didn't want to be rude. You said no to dating me, but if you want to be friends."

An annoyed groan escaped Yui's lips as she tapped her foot.

Inigo kept going. "It stinks having people fear you. Like they think you're a villain."

"What do you know about that, country boy."

"Err.. nothing.. but I could listen, maybe talk about it."

Yui glared at him for a moment and then grabbed the bag of cat food from Gigan.

Yui marched away without saying anything. The bag slung over her shoulder.

Inigo sighed and watched her leave. "It was a nice try, Gigan. You're just not cute enough to beat a cat."

Gigan gave him an incredulous look and mewed.

Inigo watched as Yui disappeared into a cafe. Maybe he should catch her there next time.

V. Archangel

Inigo yawned widely. He had pulled an all-nighter trying to perfect his plans to get a girlfriend. He had drank a strange energy drink named in a language he couldn't understand last night and skipped sleep all together. He decided to head to school early. He thought about going up to the roof and taking a nap until 2nd period. Gigan yawned too, and drifted along besides Inigo.

"Why are you tired, you're a constru- Huh? Gigan, who's that?!"

Inigo was staring at the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. She was an angel glowing in the morning mist, beckoning him into heaven. Drawing him forward.

As Inigo approached, she gave him a look of surprise and greeted him. "Good morning, Inigo."

Even her voice was soft and divine. And she knew his name. "I wanted to talk to you about the girls, and how we can make a happier and more virtuous atmosphere."

Inigo just stared, he found it hard to say anything. She wanted to talk about the other girls. Was she jealous? How did he possibly miss her?

He finally spoke out. "Don't worry, princess." He winked. "You're the only one for me. Do you want to go on a date with me?" Inigo's palm slammed against the wall behind her, his lips puffed, and he stared deeply into her red eyes.

"Yes, I'd like that. Like a double date, right? I'd have to find someone." She gave him a quizzical look and kept talking.

The rest of her words came to him fuzzy. But he heard her say yes! Finally a yes!

Maybe he was moving too fast, but maybe he wasn't moving fast enough.

He started to lean in for a kiss, and... darkness?

It was already lunchtime when Inigo woke up. He couldn't remember much. Apparently, a mystery person dropped him off at the nurse's office that morning.

All Inigo knew was that he had to find this mystery girl.

Inigo pondered and looked up at Gigan. "Rosethorn's no help. She doesn't know the girl. She must go to another class. But I do remember she had white wings! Maybe Noah knows her." He added a new girl to his notebook. "My Angel."

VI. Atsushi Orochi (Yamata)

"Well well well, if it isn't little Orochi," sneered one of three girls. "You finally dragged yourself here." The other two girls laughed. "Looks like she dragged her face through mud and shit!" Their laughter grew louder. Orochi stood in an alley behind the gym with three seniors from another school. Inigo was hunched and quietly watched them from the roof.

"We're here to make you pay for last time! You little first-year brat!" The head girl stepped forward, a brief flash, and her nails sharpened into diamonds. She had some sort of claw quirk. Inigo heard hisses behind Orochi as she took a kickboxing stance.

"Oh it's not just us today. We also brought our boyfriends." Three hulking seniors came out from behind a wall and started to surround Orochi.

"Just three. Huh? I expected more from you." Orochi gave the head girl a pitying look.

We've got more coming! Don't act like you're not scared!" The head girl snapped.

"Now you're being hiss-terical." Orochi said blankly as her three dragon-headed tails sprung around her. Inigo had to put a hand over his mouth to stop himself from laughing.

"Kill that bitch and her shitty puns!" The group of six launched themselves at Orochi.

Inigo watched as Orochi handled the group, she looked like she was enjoying herself, but as he turned to look. There were more students arriving. Inigo leaped into the alley.

"Inigo? Wh-what are you doing here?" Orochi was taken aback as she struck one of the girls with a hydra bite.

"Need a hand?" He winked at Orochi as he's punched in the face by one of the guys. "I can handle them myself." She said as two of her dragon-heads pulled the guy into a flying knee face-first.

Inigo rubbed his jaw. "I know. I was just passing by to ask for your number. We never have time to talk at class." As he spoke, Gigan had turned into a large force wall, effectively blocking off the incoming reinforcements. "I come from a dragon family too, you know."

"Are you seriously hitting on me in the middle of a fight. You creepy pervert." She dodged multiple attacks with her snake-like reflexes and used her quirk to immobilize two of the opponents.

"You cheat! You brought your boyfriend too!" The head girl taunted her as she backed down.

"He's not my boyfriend!" Orochi stood as one of the guys tried to stab her with a knife, only for it to break on her scales. He stared at her dumbfounded, before rushed down by her three hydra heads.

Suddenly, high pitched whistles are heard from both ends of the alley. "Shit! It's the teachers!" One of the guys yelled. Panic broke out as the students ran, dragging their injured away. "Party's over." Inigo turned to Orochi, who was still fighting. Gigan had turned into a dragon-like staircase that led to the roof. "You coming?"

Ten minutes later, the two had run far away from the school.

"Look whatever this bullshit is. I'm not interested, okay?" Orochi glared.

"So no to getting married, and no to dating. I won't rush ya then." Inigo turned towards her. "By the way. Is your hydra okay?" He nodded towards one of the heads with a bleeding cut on its jaw.

"It's fine. My quirk lets me regenerate." Orochi walked faster.

"I always get worried when something hurts Gigan. He's tough, but who knows what'll break him."

Orochi started to run.

"H-hey! Where are you going?"

"Mind your own business. I need to let off some steam!" She was headed down a side street.

"You're going to the arcade, right? Can I come?"

"No!"

Inigo watched as Orochi ran off. It was beautiful the way the sun hit her silver-hair. He got rejected again, so that's another one off the list, but he felt like taking a break. He ran after her.

"C'mon! How bout a friendly duel in Fekken 8? Loser pays!"

"One game, if it'll make you go away."

The two Shiketsu students made their way inside the arcade.
