Core identity/identify as:

Basisoma

  • Tiny - nonhuman species of 3 inch tall auxlian individual
  • Borrower (folcintera)
    • satellotype - mouse/dormouse - I experience a strong link between borrower and being a mouse, the two often impact each other mutually
  • Sizeshifter
  • Pterohuman
    • Simile born from this identiry include human-avian original species, mythological and modern harpies, and Haelumians from Ornella Greco

Note: I often refer to myself by the categories I fall in, more than my direct species if it exists. Calling myself a "cat donkey bird squirrel bug" is common for me. There are broad to specific levels of my nonhuman identity.

Theriotypes

  • Cat (Holothere)
    • Domestic cat - Maine Coone, Norwegian Forest
    • Pleistocene big cat - possibly Cave lion (Panthera spelaea) or American lion (Panthera atrox)
    • African lion (Panthera leo)
    • Cougar (Puma concolor)
  • Donkey - a species of brown Spanish donkey
  • Burrowing owl
  • Cape eagle owl (questioning)
  • Millipede (cladofluid)
    • Abacion genus
    • Stemmiulidae family
  • Christmas beetle (Scarabaeidae cladofluid)
    • I am a brown scarab beetle. Within my knowledge, being raised in Australia, I have an emotional connection to the term Christmas beetle. This term is given mainly to genus Anoplognathus, but is colloquially applied to many scarab beetles that appear at the end of the year. I feel a fluid connection to other clades including Geotrupidae, Melolonthini, and Pleocoma.
  • Mouse (cladofluid)
    • Similarly to the Christmas beetle, I usually have a closer bond to the word "mouse" than any other species name. I feel a fluid connection to house mice, harvest mice, dormice, and gerbils.

Unlabelled "I am" connections

  • Squirrel in some way / Sciurioform / Sciuridae aff. / Cladofluid - Red Squirrel, brown Alberts squirrel, Indian Palm Squirrel, Chipmunk
    • This is in a category of its own due to the tendency for this identiry to well, squirrel itself out of any label I try. I have heard of people experiencing genders which change upon labelling, this is the only identiry of mine which does this too. I went from kin, to not kin, to almost kin, and cycled through may different squirrel species. After feeling deep distress over it, I decided to simply leave it and be curious. There are a few different ways I've described this identity listed up there, but in the end, its unlabelled.

Conceptual Identities

Anchors

  • The colour brown (brown fur, feathers, chitin, etc.)
  • Being tiny relative to other beings

Fiction

  • Sentient/Anthro Rodent (Beatrix Potter rodent, Mouse World Resident)

Other Identification:

Likenesses

  • Werecat (physical & outer body)
  • Fae (categorical)

Simile

  • Hummingbird
  • Garden snail
  • Quail
  • Sparrow
  • Coatimundi
  • Pangolin

Linktypes

  • Eagle owl
  • Screech owl

Hearttypes:

  • Insects especially millipedes and scarab beetles
  • Birds
    • Macaws, lorikeets, and other parrots
    • Gyrfalcon and saker falcon, along with many other birds of prey. I feel an intense sense of awe towards them.
  • Cats (All felidae)
    • Leopard
  • The Secret World of Arietty

Hearthomes:

  • The Mouse World - a conceptual heart home that describes the world that a smaller being exists in, on the outskirts of the larger human society. A mouse world can exist anywhere, and this hearthome is mainly an extension of my internal size. But specific examples I feel close to are the world of Ghibli's Arietty, and the tales of Beatrix Potter.
  • The pocket of a loved one (just kidding but also not kidding)
  • Dun (aka brown bird) - a gender related to identifying as the darker, browner, or duller member of a pair of sexually dimorphic birds
  • Animal xenogender - my gender experience is equal to the gender experience of an animal
  • Wildfeminine - I have a strong link towards female sexed animals and the nature that animal feminity is entirely divorced from human
  • Xenic presentation - I try to present in a way that aligns me with bugs, forests, mosscore
