This Is Marth
He is from the game series, Fire Emblem, and was made playable in the Super Smash Bros. Series, starting with it's second entry, Melee.
As the Smash Series went on, they added multiple characters with movesets based on his. As of the most recent entry, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, he has whopping four clone characters.
This made some people kinda angry, as not only does it mean more fire emblem and anime characters on the roster, but also means that four characters have a very similar moveset.
Now, what if I told you, that, in fact, not only does Marth have three clones, but he himself IS a clone character?
Now, you might be thinking, "There is NO way Marth is copied from someone else, I mean, the only other character added to Smash before Marth with a sword is Link, and his moveset is VERY different from Marths!"
But to find the sword guy that Marth copied from, we have to look somewhere other than da smashing bros...
we have to look...
At a
LINCINSED ANIME FIGHTER!
That's right! The guy Marth Fire Emblem copies from, is found in the video game, Jojo's Venture and it's update, Heritage for the Future, based on the popular Manga/Anime series, Dio's Bizarre Stepfamily
The fighter in question is found on the left side of the bottom row of characters...
BEHOLD MARTH 0!
Minor Antagonist Chaka (known as "Chaca" in game), has a lot of similar attributes and attacks to the hero prince.
First off, not only do they both obviously have swords...
But they also have above average mobility.
Not to mention, a lot of their normals look quite similar...
But where Marth really starts to imitate chaka...
Is with special moves!
Marth's Dancing Blade may look like a neat rekka attack...
But Chaka has one too! Complete with the second slash having less options then the later ones!
Sakurai might have thought he was doing something original with the whole counter attack thing
But Chaka did it first!
But what about Marth's Dolphin Slash?
Chaka may not have that move...
But his funny cousin Khan does!
Okay, but surely mARTH's big super final smash attack is original? right?
Well I suppose he- oh hey, theres Chaka over there!
Oh what kinda silly shenanigans is he getting up to now?
W-Wait, is that a super!?
Wait Chaka don't do it!!
OHH MY GOODNESS!!!!
That's gonna leave quite a mark...
in case you want to actually see this in motion, click here
So as you can clearly see, Marth is a clear cut copy cut of Chaka in just about every single way!
He EVEN copied the concept of having so many clones that even his clones have clones!
Well that it, see ya!
