Nature’s call

Out I go to find a forest,
Walking down the dirt path of the earth’s crust
I might sing a song if I must,
An honest song of nature’s call.

Give me a rest,
I am tired of reality’s games
I will try my best,
To break that shame that I call my own.

Beautiful days outside,
Birds are singing, flowers are blooming,
On days like these
We should really appreciate nature’s beauty.

Rainy days should be appreciated
Although they seem to be a bit gloomy
They give a sense of peace and melancholy
It is certainly a good time to remember the good days.

The song that birds sing, a melody to my ears
Calling each other out to warn them from any danger there
might be,
Soaring high in the sky, I also wish to be free
And those are some things of nature’s call.

“There’s nothing to fear,” the thoughts in my brain speak,
“You are what you bring,” they get louder, yet a soft whisper
“There’s nothing to fear,” they say,
“Everything will be alright.”

Down I go, through and under the branches
Dancing through the roots of the trees,
Leaves rustle above the canopy of the trees
And that is the sound of nature’s call.

Thoughts get louder
Head screaming to let go of the past,
People keep screaming
But will everything ever last?

Bees bustle on the flowers,
Collecting pollen and drinking its sweet nectar
Buzzing softly with a hum,
They fly away back to their queen, with the sound of nature’s call.

They get louder and louder,
They have been there ever since I remember
Voices in my head, they sometimes seem to control me,
I fear that they’ll find out before the end of September.

Clouds loom above in the sky,
Fluffy and white as snow
Sometimes I wish to know how carefree they are,
It's nice to know that they are part of nature’s call.

Crying out a loud sob
I cannot get rid of these thoughts; the voices in my head
They tell me so many things
Sometimes I wish they were dead-silent.

We all know the beauty of nature,
We all know how it is wonderful,
We all know the great sounds that it has,
At the end of nature’s call.

Though...
These forgotten memories of my past haunt me,
Voices formed in a way I didn’t know
Only recently have I thought about it,
In the end, I thought it was natural.

I let out a small laugh,
The wet, earthy ground giving me a soft comfort
I think I've had enough of this stupid reality
I look up to the sky and hear nature’s call.

In the end...
I knew it was all just a lie.
