I am Catholic, and therefore a Christian. I understand that this topic and religion is sensitive to some, so I try my best not to talk about it, but I don't censor my social media posts because I feel it is unfair to ask me to do so. If you ever have access to one of my social medias, expect there to be Christian (and specifically Catholic) posts and reposts, but it is mostly positivity, Bible verses, and stuff like that. I don't post political things in regards to my religion, nor do I have the desire to due to the ultra-conservative nature of most political Christian media.
I do not tie my politics to my religion and I do not agree wholly with the Catholic Church in regards to some of its stances that I find in bad taste for the modern world, such as its opposition to the LGBTQ+.
I am very protective of my religion and I prefer to not hear people make snide or outright insulting remarks about it, and I will correct you if you spread misinformation. This only applies to people who are being antagonistic, not those who are venting about their religious trauma, which is perfectly understandable. Please do not refer to Catholicism or Christianity in general as a cult around me. I prefer to not interact with people who describe themself as Satanists (theistic or atheistic), or those who make Satanism part of their "aesthetic". It just personally makes me uncomfortable, I don't really have anything against them as a whole. I also prefer not to hear about witchcraft and adjacent practices, again not because I think there is something wrong with it but because engaging in that sort of thing makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
Lastly, I understand that my religion might make you nervous, but I will never pressure or guilt you to convert nor will I actively talk about it unless the topic comes up by itself in conversation, despite me thoroughly enjoying it as a source of comfort. Whenever I do mention it in my personal spaces, I usually am just showing off something like a rosary I like, or talking about something interesting like a Marian apparition, or discussing a Bible verse I like. Occasionally it slips my mind and I will say something like "I will pray for you", but you can always remind me not to say things like that if you dislike it.
