Such a page is kept on her person at all times, close to her heart. Folded into the form of her contour shape, she stores these truths quite literally as spoken.
Headmaster
Dankinus Manastone
An old and wisened mentor. Confusing to understand, of course. But I find him elegant in an odd way. His abilities while numerous and vast, I feel as if I can match them. I feel, as I knew his name before ever meeting him. Is his name etched upon my body somewhere?
Obviously she can look up to such a powerful magus and admires what he can do. But he blabbers at her oft enough she gets flustered. In his less lucid moments she finds it hard to write him anything.
Gryffindor
Professors
Henry Travers
I'm no duelist. But I believe Professor Travers understands my aversion to Confrigo and Diffendo sorceries. It's so hard for me to cast something that could undo me. Even with these protective charm rings I was gifted. He helped me conceptualize Reparo, however. I always admired him for that.
She doesn't have any super hard feelings about Defense Against the Dark Arts. However Olympia prefers to use halting charms and transfigurations. She feels he pushes her the perfect amount to step out of her comfort zone with damage-dealing. Its about defense, after all.
Studious Gaunt
We have so little in common! I'm-- Paper! I feel as if I let Professor down so often. I can't make anything grow right... Not to mention no matter how much I listen, I feel as if I'm getting it wrong like anyways... I hope he doesn't hate me. A student, hated by a teacher? I would shred with embarassment.
This anxiety is superfluous. Olympia gets way too flustered over her weaknesses due to her biology. She tries to make up for it, in Herbology especially. She's natural in a sort of way after all. But she would never judge Gaunt for his squib nature, if she knew. In a weird sort of way she understands.
Students
Amalia Oceanborough
She's so energetic, and pretty funny. I wish she didn't like to play with... Water! So much. But, like, that's okay. I suppose. She makes me laugh a lot, I almost forget sometimes. I wish I could talk to her more, but she doesn't really like staying still to read me...
Olympia is a little envious of Amalia having family in Hogwarts, given she has none. but she adores her energy, she adores her go-getter attiude. Even if she's not very sociable either.
Merlin English
I feel it. His name. It comes and goes in the passages of my memory. They must have met, they must have. But then they hadn't. But I remember when it changes. What is he doing in our past?
Merlin's time turner excursions leave a bad taste on Olympia's fonts. Whatever he does seems to ripple his name across her history making his name appear and disappear in her words. It makes her anxious of how many words she has left, if Merlin English is one of them. Will she run out because he has undone sometimes and ripped those precious few away...?
Frank Lee
He's so different than I expect. His insistence on understanding the core of my being is too intrusive. I don't fully know the combination of Charm and Transfiguration that brought me into being in the first place!
Potential academic rivals, Olympia keeps Frank Lee at a specific distance due to his can-do attitude making her a bit too shy in revealing much to anyone. It makes her a tad uncomfortable-- Though she greatly admires his focus on his spells. While she is a jack-of-all trades in how many spells she knows, she cannot deny his specific abilities as anything but amazing.
Ravenclaw
Professors
Chanetelle Shafiq
Professor's puzzle today was so intriguing. I'm no Animagus, I'm afraid, but I was able to manage the intricacies I needed to transfigure everything into form for her classes. Professor Shafiq's class truly might be my favorite. I almost forget sometimes! That I'm in class! That's crazy, I know.
As a transfiguration dynamo, Olympia loves changing things into other things. She's been thought of 'Should I become an animagus' purely because of Chanetelle Shafiq. She needs to master and learn patronus as well, but that's secondary to thinking about it. It's her favorite class-- Transmutation AND Puzzles? How can she love it more?
Dougal McCreedy
Hmph! Potions. I just-- Can't understand it! It soaks into my paper. I keep accidentally turning into things! I hate it. I much prefer our time together in Arithmancy where I can write to my hearts content...
She's not good at potions by any measurement so her feelings on McCreedy get a bit warped by her frustrations with her difficulties in the art, but she finds his calm atmosphere very comforting as she can spend more time simply writing and doing maths.
Simon Stan
The first day I met Professor, he said something too strange for me to forget. Holding on to my arm so tight it started to crumple and fold... 'What a magnificent spell it will be.' I felt chills. The way he stared into my eyes. He's usually so nice, if a bit erratic. It's not impossible to follow but I don't know if we'll go over our first meeting.
She likes Divination, and Professor Stan. But she has had to write down a guide on following him just to keep his lesson plan together. There's a coherency there, she understands it. And at times she attempts to use Divinations just to follow in his stead. She gets tempted to peer inside his head too oft.
Students
Olympia Stalward
I, She, was in her 6th year by now I am only in my 4th. When I first awoke on my Dedications, I was inexperienced and did not yet understand. My life was words. And I only had so many to use. Our life, what was in it. She was a powerful witch, but I fear I cannot share that with the world. I don't want to run out of words. I want to keep being friends with everyone, I want to...
An often rewritten page stained in inky tears.
Alric Yaxley
So inventive! But he really has a good knack for his experiments. I know that I always have someone in-house to rely on for Potions so Professor McCreedy doesn't get too terse with me. I think he's rather amazing with what he's able to concoct. It's... Unfortunate I still can't talk even when under Polyjuice Potion. But people who turn into me can. It's unfair!
Olympia's habits to dote on others and make sure they get things right come into question with Alrics unrivaled ability at potioncraft. Where he keeps sneaking to has her attention, of course. If he's hiding something, she's curious about what it could be.
Minagi Sukasuka
I don't mind or care too much what caused her to come here. Yet I am fascinated even more by her peculiar artifact she carries around. Minagi is a curiosity, I believe. Not to mention, we did promise, anyway. What would cause someone to carry such a thing? We all have our secrets I suppose.
Someone that Olympia made a fairly understanding connection with due to a shared curiosity between the two ending in a Pinky Promise of trust. Olympia doesn't really get close to people. Always leaving them covered in papercuts. It makes her feel like she's just going to hurt Minagi too.
I almost spoke to her earlier today. I'm so embarassed...!
Tina Crouch
Tall... She's so friendly! She's asked me once or twice about Quidditch... I don't know! I feel like I'll get so worked up. I was thinking of a self-transfiguration thingy for it but it absolutely wouldn't be allowed. She's really friendly. So many of us fellow Ravenclaw spend a lot of time together-- But silently. I like it like that, but I think Tina always making sure to read what I write makes me happy.
She looks up to the beater and admires her tenacity and spirit a lot. If Tina can be outgoing and sociable, Olympia can be right behind her waving silently while she yaps in her stead.
Thomas P. Hippo
Poor guy. I really want to help tutor him when he isn't busy with the Professor. I know what it's like to advance into a spot you're not ready for. I saw someone trying to pick on him! It made me so angry I almost summoned something! Instead I just stood there trying to be all 'Grrrr!'
She oversympathises with his situation and probes him way too much about what happened and trying to understand it. She never doubts, nor teases him for what he's done but marvels at how he can push forward despite it all.
It'll be okay. I promise, okay? You're way stronger than you think Tommy!
Hufflepuff
Professors
Minrathous Cicero
Professor talked to me again today about my nature. It seems like he has an interest in my natural biology and how it retains information. During class, when he was talking about Svanirus, I got chills. If he were to erase a word from me... Would it... shorten everything?
She's pretty resistant to information leaking, because everything she knows or is happens to be scribed on her body protected by charms and enchantments. This makes her fairly engaged in class as he teaches students about information manipulation.
Students
Oliver Ollivander
I don't like that weird box! Someones voice... trapped on recording?! It bothers me when we do it, but then the muggle world figured it out too? Scary!
Not a huge fan of the muggle technology of course, but would be curious toward his legacy and what he's capable of in the terms of spellcraft. They may come to a sort of frenemies status because of her discomfort with him. Her Wand is most likely a commision from his family which he could use to lord over her forever.
He's only a 2nd year, Anyway...
Ciaran Whiteborn
He cornered me today! I don't know why he wanted to ask about quidditch so much! He's as bad as Tina, Tony, and Oaklynn are! He actually got me up on a broom for a little bit which was so scary. I was afraid I'd blow away in the wind. But he did get me to admit, I suppose, Hogwarts is sort of pretty from the skyline...
She's not exactly an adrenaline junky as he is, but she can be coerced to go on many adventures. Her knack towards following others makes it easy for her to talk about brooms, their enchantments, and in Ciaran's desired use; Their riding. She pitched him a broom that would make her more comfortable, but it wasn't very feasible...
Oaklynn Barowe
Her. Our grades are almost the exact same! Except potions, I guess. And she's always toting her custom broom off too which looks so cool. I feel like we keep stepping on eachothers shoes... But she's so cool, too! Ack! I need to apologize for what happened in Charms last week.
Accidentally, Olympia keeps stepping on Oaklynns shoes and in turn she hers. They clash in grades, in class, and in academic pursuit. They have similar minds, and you would expect them to be rather great friends. Instead, the two end up on opposite ends of the same thought rather frequently. Though how one-sided this exchange is remains up in the air but Olympia gets rather flustered about what she percieves as a conflict.
Hmph!
Carl Heron
He's like a knight! Always going around in armor. We talked about the weapons I make with my pages. I don't-- I don't know anything about swords! It's just a sword! I just make a sword! I don't understand half the stuff he was saying...
Slightly offput by his deep focus on metallurgy and creation and how it contrasts with her own methods. Olympia isn't a creator, she more... folds new things into shape off the old. But that doesn't mean she dislikes Mister Heron. Carl. How relaxed he can be despite how intense (she feels) makes he wary. She has, however, put in considerable work to read up on the history of swords due to him.
Arthur Abbott
Is he really in our year? He seems so cheerful, he's like a little kid. I find him traversing into the weirdest places, and he's never right about any of it! The grotesques are just statues! Its the gargoyles that animate when we aren't looking! Not to mention... he asked a rather... odd question today.
If there's a good way to hook Olympia into an adventure it's a well-meaning and adventurous idiot. Which she doesn't dislike at all, frankly. And rather enjoys correcting incorrect things! Especially how wrong Arthur is! At all his little gimmicks! Not to mention, Olympia doesnt like sharing about the mystery of her life. Because she doesn't really know either.
Mythran Stonework
Okay... I heard the craziest story today. I can't say from who. But apparently she can turn into anyone even without a Polyjuice potion? And ONE OF the professors isn't even real?! I don't believe that, of course. But that's like. Crazy...? I know she constantly shifts around but could she even-- Apparently Mi My Source... Said. She's never EVER taken one of Professor Gaunts classes...
Honestly, respect for her is enough to say that Olympia gets along with Mythran or understands her specific predicament. But that doesn't stop Olympia from being trapped by the swirl of rumors that circle her. Despite being a smart girl, she still falls for the curiosity that seems innate to her.
Slytherin
Professors
Nicholas Firethorn
...I don't like this class. Why do so many creatures eat paper?! It's not fair! Professor is so understanding of my situation but-- The MOTH was not funny! I'm just glad I make my clothes out of paper too so all I did was lose my robe. Now he stands near me whenever doing demonstrations so I'll be safe. All the animals just hate me! I don't know!!!
She likes the professor glad enough but just, does not gel with anyone that isn't Ivy when it comes to creatures. She's so afraid of hurting them. She doesn't have warm embraces like other students do so she prefers to keep her distance more than anything else.
Students
Tony Ricketts
Talk about a bad boy. Hmph. He's a duelist, which I get. But it's way too scary and... dangerous. He's always around that Merlin... I feel as if his name has appeared before too, within my words. And that makes him too uncomfortable to engage with. But a bit enticing. Unlike his cohorts, Tony's mind is more... Engaging. I guess. It's hard to say.
She doesn't adore Tony, nor does she hate him. But his ethics. His ideals. His edge. They're so sharp to her, but in an odd way she can't help but feel herself winding up in his path too often for her own good. She's so used to giving others paper cuts, in boring them away. Never able to speak a word to them.
But, I guess. He's not all bad, I guess.
Veronica Pressfield
So, she's like a Princess? Shes kind of mean, but, I don't know. I don't exactly like talking to her but she's always spreading rumors and gossip... And her friends are always trying to style my hair! I think one of them got a papercut because they stopped trying...
Olympia isn't exactly popularity-fated. She's a bit of a gossip but shy, quiet. How much momentum the popular girls have always leave Olympias head spinning.
Zachary Oceanborough
He always seems to lonely. I ask Amalia bout him, but she doesn't answer me! And he doesn't either! I feel like when we're in the library together we're still both so alone... Always so troubled, in his own mind. But when we do talk, I really feel like he's so super nice! I want to help him with whatever's bothering him so much but I have no idea how to start.
Curiosity always gets the cat. And she really wants to know more about Zach just because of the mystery surrounding him and his sister. Even though she only learned about that as a rumor on the gossip mill, she's still interested. Brother and Sister? Split apart by house. She feels so bad.
Lennox Gaunt
So weird. The way he looks at Ivy sometimes! She always curls around my arm so defensively... I wonder if she doesn't like his snake? Oh, I hope they can get along but that's a bit weird. They are different, I suppose. But not too different? I'll need to talk to him. But that's so scary! Slytherin can be so... intimidating...
Ivy has more of an opinion of Lennox than Olympia really does, being very defensive of her master and caring of his seeming various ideals and experimentations. Olympia herself is a bit neutral if distrusting of him, but his passion to innovate does make her smile. If only a little smile. Until, of course. His ideas get too out there! And she has to follow him around and make sure he's not doing stuff in a way that'd be inefficient! Ivy doesnt like this, of course. And has frequently told Lennox to forget about Olympia. Fluffy and Ivy seem to talk though...
If you're going to do something dangerous, Mister Gaunt, you must do it right. Hmph.
Tibbits
Odd circumstances, but I guess I can't exactly complain or comment. We're both doing our best in situations that don't really work too well for us... but Mister Tibbits is really nice, even if he tries to say he's not! It's funny to have someone old as the teachers in our class. But, he's also been so helpful when we work together on assignments. I wonder how long he's been around for? Does he know the Headmaster I wonder... And would he know...
Not really a House-elf hater, Olympia is very supportive of tibbits freedom. She herself desires the correct way of things to be done, so she also supports his would-be humiliation ritual. Yet, she yearns to help him progress faster. His disgust with the situation makes her sad, because she thinks he's neat.
