A Step by Step Guide To Installing Rookie Sideloader
⚠️ IMPORTANT Before you start!
If you haven't already, you need to get your headset and PC ready for sideloading.
❓️ What is Rookie Sideloader
A free, open-source, general-purpose Android sideloading tool for Windows. It provides a user-friendly interface for installing, managing, and updating Android applications on your devices.
🛡️ REAL TIME PROTECTION (Windows Defender Exclusion)
- Open your C: Drive
- Create a folder named:
RSL - Inside
RSL, create another folder named:Rookie - Open Windows Security → Virus & Threat Protection → Manage Settings → Add or Remove Exclusions
- Add Folder exclusion:
C:\RSL\Rookie - Click APPLY

NOTES:
- You may get browser/antivirus warnings — these are false positives.
- Save directly into your excluded folder
C:\RSL\Rookie- If blocked: Right-click download → Save Link As → choose
C:\RSL\Rookie
▶️ STARTING ROOKIE
- Move AndroidSideloader.exe into:
C:\RSL\Rookie
(If not downloaded to this location already) -
Create a Desktop Shortcut
Windows 10 - Right-click AndroidSideloader.exe → Send To → Desktop (Create Shortcut)
Windows 11 - Right-click AndroidSideloader.exe → Show More Options → Send To → Desktop (Create Shortcut)

Run Rookie from Desktop
⁉️ HOW TO USE ROOKIE
- Connect Headset To Computer
- Put Heaset on
- Allow
USB Debuggingand CheckAlways allowinside Headset - Run
Rookie- Rookie will auto-detect device - Add
a server - Browse / Search for a Game
- Choose a Game - Rookie will download and install
🔌 CONNECTING TO A SERVER
- Click PROVIDE PUBLIC CONFIG
- Add your own to unlock a browsable library
[ LIBRARY ] — optional, only when you add a server
❌️ Connection Error
Gamelist + Error 500 👈
If you recieve this error use a VPN
