行く朝

On an early morning, Sakuya is having breakfast by herself.
Producer messages her as she’s eating, saying he’ll be arriving in about 15 minutes. U[on his arrival, Sakuya hops in the car and they begin chatting about their mornings. Sakuya had gone to sleep early as she knew she would have to wake up at this hour, but managed to get a good night’s rest. Producer is glad to hear it, but lets her know that she can still take a nap in the car if need be. Sakuya asks how his morning went in return and his answer isn’t as positive. He tried to sleep early, but it didn’t work out, and for breakfast he relied on konbini food. Sakuya wishes he had mentioned something about it earlier, but Producer says breakfast just isn’t happening if it’s going to cause her to wait. Sakuya hits him where it hurts by asking if he’d eat breakfast if she was worried about it, going on to scold him a bit over skipping meals.

LEFT CHOICE: Now’s my chance…
Producer thinks that now might be a good time to sneak in a bite and asks if it’s alright to eat now. Sakuya not only says yes, but asserts that she’d prefer if he’d hurry up and eat it all now instead of looking for the right time to munch. She recognizes that he’s driving, however, and starts to “assist” him by feeding him on her own. He’s outwardly bothered by her attempting this while he’s driving, so she tells him that he’ll have to pull over and eat if he wants her to stop.

TOP CHOICE: Are you not hungry at all?
Sakuya tells P about her breakfast when he asks what all she had. She made eggs, bacon, and some salad, claiming that it was all just “simple” food. Producer questions how all of that is merely “simple”, causing Sakuya to worry even more about what kind of awful eating habits P has.

RIGHT CHOICE: …Just in case.
P asks if she’s getting a properly balanced diet after having said that he’ll have to keep her comments in mind. Sakuya finds the sudden reversal to be cute and asks him what exactly his diet is like instead. His answer, in full confidence, is rice balls, fried chicken bentos, and vegetable juice. Sakuya can’t help but laugh at his carb-filled incompetence.

小旅行

Producer is spacing out on the train, mumbling to himself about how it’s really autumn now. Sakuya hears him and asks about his sudden thought. He explains that, while a bit embarrassing and perhaps insensitive, he explains that their line of work often has to get ahead of the seasons with their planning, leaving them unaware of what month it actually is and having the seasons creep up on them while they’re hard at work. Sakuya agrees, saying that sometimes it feels like summer has some remains reluctantly holding on during autumn only for the fall to be quickly taken over by the winter before you know it. They mention how much of a shame it is as the autumn leaves are always so pretty and Sakuya says it must be particularly hard for him to find the time to appreciate the season’s beauty with how crammed his schedule is. Producer claims his time management isn’t all that bad, but lets slip that he wishes he could be more like Sakuya and live life to the fullest.
Changing the topic, Producer excitedly announces that he has something special with him during their ride. Sakuya is taken back by his sudden change in tone, but gives full attention to his announcement as he shows off the fancy autumn bento box he got from the station earlier. P asks for Sakuya’s opinion on it and if he should give it a try, hoping to get his role model’s approval, which he does, before starting to dig in.
LEFT CHOICE: …I need to consider the return trip too…!
Sakuya laughs at P’s impatience, but opts to get hasty herself and now wants to partake in the autumn bento experience herself.

TOP CHOICE: Eating in a place like this
The two get hyped over eating on a train, feeling that it’s emblematic of going out. Sakuya goes quiet and apologizes for losing herself in P’s excitement.

RIGHT CHOICE: Sakuya’s bento is surely—
Sakuya admits that she got a different bento to satisfy her stomach. It’s a seafood special with urchin, shrimp, and salmon roe. Producer thinks it all sounds delicious and Sakuya offers to share with him in exchange for some of his autumn box.

生み、食む、秋

The photoshoot they had come for finished early, leaving the two wondering what else they can do with their time. They could go home early or do some sightseeing while they’re here. Sakuya decides to go with something from the latter option and asks if they could go do something together.
Gacha Animation Sakuya shows off the namagashi she made and asks for P’s opinion on her work. Producer says it’s beautiful and praises her skill. He claims that it looks professional and that if it were sold at a real store, he’d buy it. He shows his own namagashi in comparison. It sucks. He refers to it as a pitiful blob of clay, causing Sakuya to be bothered that he could be so down on his hard work. P stands by his thought, however, having already expected that he would be the type to completely mess it up. He perks back up and lightens the mood by saying that, despite his poor display, it was a lot of fun making it. He’s happy that Sakuya invited him to try it out, not usually having a chance to try an activity like this, and even thinks that his sad little blob might have some charm to it. Sakuya gets him to confirm his positive outlook and tells him that their time here can turn into an autumn memory for him. Beyond anything else, she hopes that this will be a lasting memory for him, and a happy one at that.

いたずらに偶然

Late at night, Producer enters the 283 dorms. In doing so, he bumps into none other than Sakuya. He greets her normally. Sakuya is terribly flustered, but manages to return the greeting and asks what he’s doing here at this hour. He explains that he didn’t plan on coming here so late, but he had some extra work going on that needed attending to. Sakuya, still bothered, reports that she was heading down to the dining room.
Finally, Sakuya gives in and starts telling Producer that she’s embarrassed by being so unsightly. She wasn’t expecting guests at this time and hadn’t dressed appropriately. Producer, dense as ever, doesn’t get what she means and thinks there’s nothing weird about her outfit. Upon continuing that she’s preparing to go to sleep after this, Producer at last begins to realize what the problem is, piecing together that the clothes she’s wearing are, in fact, pajamas. Now Producer is embarrassed as he truly thought that they were completely normal clothes and exclaims that pajamas are just getting too fashionable these days. He closes his eyes and Sakuya starts to laugh. She urges him to open his eyes again as she doesn’t feel so embarrassed knowing that he didn’t find it to be inappropriate. After a bit of negotiating, he finally relents and the two share their apologies, eventually settling to call things even between themselves. Sakuya then ushers him into the dining room so she can treat him to some tea as thanks for his hard work.
After they finish, they head outside as Sakuya sees Producer off for the night.
LEFT CHOICE: Rest easy, okay?
Sakuya tells P to rest as well, to which he says the tea has already given him the rest he needs. She tells him off for potentially thinking of going back to work after the tea.

TOP CHOICE: Well then, good night.
The two tell each other good night and Sakuya insists that he shouldn’t go back to work tonight. P replies with a simple “haha, I’ll take care of myself”, which doesn’t instill much faith from Sakuya.

RIGHT CHOICE: Even though it’s so late, thank you.
Producer once again apologizes for his intrusion and they leave each other with a “see you tomorrow.”

TRUE END - 再び

Sakuya’s back in the kitchen, this time preparing a number of things for a special breakfast. She’s grilling salmon and lists off plum and tuna mayo ingredients being ready for the rice balls. She thinks about having to prepare vegetables and other side dishes while squeezing her ingredients together.
She later hops in the car with Producer and says she’s prepared the goods as promised. They’ll be heading up to higher ground to share breakfast together today. Producer apologizes for having her get up early to prepare the food, but Sakuya says that she’s more than happy to have made everything and wishes he would stop apologizing for granting her wish of spending time together. Sakuya once again considers all of the food she made to be “simple”, but claims that cooking it all was a heart throbbing experience as she thought of him the whole time. Producer relents and thanks her for the invitation, admitting that he was really looking forward to their breakfast together. Sakuya tells him that she also was counting down the days like a kid looking forward to a field trip. It’s not often that she gets to have Producer all to herself so moments like these are extra special. Producer tells her that she can just ask him out anytime, thinking about how maybe next time he can prepare the food instead, though he quickly realizes it’ll probably just be pre-made meals anyways. Sakuya asks if he should be saying something like that so easily and inquires what he’d do if she reserved him for herself every morning from now on. Producer recognizes the difficulty of such a situation, but vows to not break his promise. Sakuya goes quiet after hearing this before calling him mean under her breath for dropping a bomb like that before work. Producer couldn’t catch what she said, but she tells him that it’s alright for him not to have heard.
