Notes. ⠀(Or a 'BYI' if that's your poison.)
Disclaimer: I'm fully aware that I'll sound like Timmy Toughknuckles here, but holy hell some people online act like they were socialized by a pack of wild chimpanzees. I'm actually so nice. Trust. I'm also just really tired and frustrated and have that specific brand of ASD that makes any perceived injustice (no matter how small it might be) feel genuinely intolerable.
I hate being misunderstood and I hate when people purposefully (maliciously, in bad faith) misconstrue me as a person and/or the things that I say, so I'm gonna try to be crystal clear and as firm as I possibly can be here. I'm not trying to be mean/condescending or whatever.
First things first, I'm 26 so I'm too old and tired for most of the bullshit the people on here care about. I don't care about whatever the trends are and I don't care about the URL market at all, so no, I'm not trading or selling anything.
I'm pro-fic but I don't care about the "moral" camps people got set up - it's not my fault if the incest has chemistry, take it up with the writer's room. Read this before equipping your e-pitchforks. We similarly won't get along if your whole personality is being a brocon or anything kink-related, despite me being pro-kink, mostly cuz it's crazy cornplating. This is a pastebin website, bitch. Take your ass back to Fetlife. What happened to "hi, how's it going?"
I'm confrontational as all hell, he asked for no pickles. I'm not aggressive and I try to be nice, but I enforce my boundaries myself cause who else is gonna do it. More people could stand to grow a spine. No, I don't think being aggressive for no reason is enforcing boundaries, either. Especially when you only do it when you can dogpile someone or have more social power than they do. Find the middle ground, people. Another thing: please God spare me from the parasociality on here. Who are you people? I'm from Ancient Greece. I stick to my close friend group and generally like to keep a small circle cause 1.) I'm gramps, and 2.) I got trust issues.
We won't get along if you're the type of person that doesn't know who they are so you fill your soul up with crude oil and patchwork yourself out of strangers you see on this site, the trend of the week, etc. I get that as a species we're all introjected traits, I know that identity issues are normal given the average age of this site's userbase and I know a thing or two about identity issues (given the DID) but jeez. Who wants to be friends with the human equivalent of an empty, painted hermit crab shell? Got no change on me, sorry brother. Do whatever you wanna do, but do it far away from me. Cheers.
I'm also not a huge fan of the hard-baked culture of competitiveness on here, it's pretty psych ward worthy. I don't wanna talk to you if you consider yourself "the #1 fan" of anything to the point you constantly have to assert your position. It's insecure as hell and you end up pathologically lying to try to one-up people who don't even care and you're gonna move onto a different fixation in a month, it's like clockwork. Chill out, girls. You're both pretty, [insert character] loves you both equally and you're both the biggest MCU fans or whatever.
I like sharing my interests with others, and if we share the same ones, feel free to chat with me about 'em! Let's make fandoms a fun place again. :P I'm a little sick of people trying to powerscale when I'm not saying nuffink in the first place. For God's sake, people, I dunno how to make this any clearer: Loki & I only state how long we've been into Marvel & SPN 'cuz that's about when we made like bananas and split. In 2005-2006 we weren't really absorbing the media, anyway. Nobody is. We liked it the way fat little toddlers like a show a bit above their paygrade until we rewatched/reread stuff as older kids. I also was shoved in my cage (went dormant) around SPN S9ish for a decade, so I haven't even gotten past S11 yet (since I'm rewatching. On account of the memory issues. A-doy.) It's cool, actually - I find new things to love (and analyze) about my special interests every time I come back to 'em. Let's all relax.
I'm actually not that much of an asshole I'm just super blunt 'cuz I got a nasty case of the autismo. I'm a sensitive and passionate soul. Uhh. Obviously my syndromes influence how I act and react to people online but generally I'm kind of a paranoid headcase. I'm a bunker uncle. Bunkunc even. My ASPD & NPD dictate a lot about my behavior obviously but I'll never talk to the girl reading this so it doesn't matter.
Assume whatever you want about me but it probably isn't true since we don't know each other. Someone's page showcases maybe 5% (generously) of what their actual personality is like, assuming they're not disingenuous and trying to be someone entirely different. Even in DMs, you can't see someone's body language or know what they're like in person. No matter how authentic you are online, it's still a curated image. I stutter a lot when I speak cause of my disorganized thinking, for example. I have more time to put my thoughts together and sound cohesive via text. That's also curation.
