Swan
There was once a swan who had a lover as bright as the dawn who then went away
She flew behind him with love so foolishly blind
Such a pitiful swan whom was filled with love and hopes, she was swayed
And with a thought she wondered throughout the chase
In his heart, was she ever there with a place?
She flew high, her lover a day,
Higher and higher her feathers put ablaze
Her thoughts a mess,
Mind becoming a maze,
But then she realized and then she stopped, amazed
For all those dreams were mere foolish illusions
In which a swan chased after her lover with a love turned to delusion
Fall to the earth, plummeting with feathers of char
Beneath the burnt flesh, a final beat in her heart
She sought the sun like foolish Icarus had
An ending quite tragic, an end so bad
Foolish swan, for she has fallen many ways for her unreachable lover
Fallen in love,
Fallen foolishly,
Fallen from delusion,
Fallen from the heavenly skies that has set her afire,
Fallen for the swan who was as bright as the dawn
Fallen for the one she called her lover.
