People of Interest

Alessandro Galliota, Viscount of Portblanc

Hero of the story and main point of view, he is the Viscount of the City of Portblanc and the Island of Uharta, a major trade city located between the estuaries of two major rivers. Alessandro is a bookworm and a near workaholic who spends most of his time studying or working. He has a fair complexion, light brown hair and a growing short beard (after having decided to not shave until the end of the war)

Joan Sahakea, Halfbeast Servant

Alessandro's trustworthy personal serf, childhood friend and secret target of his affections. Though her personality and voice appear cold and emotionless, she is a casual advisor to Alessandro. Joan is a 'Coruuni' owl person of the 'Meios', a race of Halfbeast Men hailing from the continent of Samica. She has a light brown skin, the sides of her head are animalistic-like and covered in dark-brown plumage, and her eyes are pitch black.

Hugues Regnard, Sergeant Major

Chief of Staff of Alessandro's Regiment, as well as his advisor and tutor in all things military. He is a former mercenary from the southern lands of Montcher who came into the service of his family. He is a direct but reliable and trustworthy man. He has a fair complexion, light brown hair, and a beard in the style of Van Dyke.

Provençal de Marguina, Furriel Mayor

Quartermaster of Alessandro's Regiment. He is an discharged veteran of the Imperial Army of Mirevale, hailing from the western provinces of the Empire. He is an extremely religious and fastidious man. Impeccably clean, well-kept and fit, with a fair omplexion.

Carles IV Brascarams, Imperial Prince of Segoma

Alessandro's Liege Lord, and the third son of Emperor Teodor XI. He is a gelid, quiet, thoughtful man who seems to think in manners beyond your comprehension. He is pale, with pitch black hair and overtly sharp features that are natural to the House of Brascarams.

Fadrique de Caduyas, Count of Zaroza

Alessandro's fello-w noble and the lord of the County of Zaroza in Segoma. He is a jolly and carefree person who often chuckles when talking. He is a giant of a man, standing at two meters of height and yet nonetheless a strange mix of fat and strong. He has a fair complexion and black hair.

Salazar Matagigantes, Baron of Solemais

Though a lower noble, his veterancy in the Imperial Army has made him Prince Carles' second in command for the conflict in Nera. He is a stubborn yet dedicated man who embodies the values of knighthood. With already whitening hair, he is an old yet surprisingly sturdy man.

Octavi Colenáz, Marquess of Castalla

Another of Alessandro's fellow noblemen in Segoma, he is a clever and bitter man who Alessandro knows to be a schemer in more ways than one. He is weirdly thin and ratlike, with a fair complexion and dirty blonde hair.

Jonatan Galliota

Alessandro's elder brother and the firstborn of your father, he would have been the Viscount had it not been for his physical infermity which made him illegible to inherit. He is of pure white hair and pale skin, despite his young age, with a visage that is completely and utterly unblemished in any way.
