People and Society

Cadenza is a quickly growing society, exploding with new culture. Once various clans and nomads that inhabited a much larger region. They gathered together under one banner and their new Queen. Being allowed to flourish in the open and with each other, has jump started and helped the new people of Cadenza explore their new identities and way of life.
Although much of their former lifestyles still show through in various ways. Many still train and teach the young to sneak through the wilds and the hidden paths to hide from the mega fauna of Arpeggio. Much of what knowledge each clan had was passed down orally, with a few exceptions, and only now has been written down and added to the Great library of Diamond.
A visitor to the nation might find the natives friendly, yet still a bit wary of those they don't know. Another thing the visitor might notice is that the transition to city life is still ongoing and common knowledge from someplace like Encore doesn't exist yet for some situations. This is due to the sudden switching from one type of society to another without the normal generational alterations over time. To help aleiviate this problem. A great many skilled individuals from across the world have been paid or offered positions to teach and help improve the number of tradesmen, craftsmen, mages, and warriors, amongst many other needed professions in this new nation.

Languages Spoken

There are a great many languages spoken in Cadenza. However the common tongue is being taught with an aggressive teaching campaign. Yet with so many races intermingling and the nation being young. It's still common to run into situations that need a translator.

Government

The nation is ruled by a Queen with the best interests of the people as the highest priority. Excluding vacating the throne.
The next step beneath the Queen are her children. Prince and Princess alike who have chosen to take the steps for ruling like their mother. Once their suitability has been confirmed, they are assigned a station and lands under their leadership.
Beneath this working for both the Queen and her children are the Marquess, acting as direct advisors. They are people from any walk of life who were deemed to be the best at what they do and placed in charge to oversee that aspect of Cadenza's need.
A step above a Marquess, with more power are the Duke/Duchess whom are those ruling districts, lands, or other stations normally assigned to the children of the Queen. They in the future will find themselves becoming Marquess or moved to a new station to accommodate the needs of the nation. With the most common outcome being put in charge of a new district built onto a city or new claim of the nation on its borders.
Beneath the Marquess and Duke/Duchess are the guild, union, mayors, and other local leaders. Most of these positions are applied for by the individuals on their own. But the final say is generally with the Marquess over the area.
