INTRODUCTION : Who and What is Umiko?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Umiko is a hybrid consisting of a Human (originally) and a Sea bunny. She is the 7% out of a thousand of Sea Bunny-like organisms in the world with this rare condition. It is unknown how she became to be a hybrid, but it is heavily implied death was the main cause in her previous life form. Umiko has been able to have different forms and variations of her appearances depending on her hunger state due to this condition.

What are “Sea bunnies”?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › In Urban Legends, Sea bunnies are deadly toxic predators that take form of their prey. They usually target on anything that is considered to have toxins/venoms. Comparing an average pure breed Sea bunny's diet to Umiko's diet, They for the most part are like vegans/vegetarians to her. "If a vampire were only to drink the blood of an animal." They can also eat regular non-living organisms as it helps with the environment. Most commonly, they tend to eat toxic sea plants. No matter the diet of an average Sea Bunny, (cannibal, carnivore, vegan, or vegetarian) they still will manage to attain their preys’/plants’ toxins/venoms it needs to survive. This way, they use these toxins that will become their own defense mechanism’s against other predators, or even support other Sea bunnies. They tend to come in black and white in color schemes, or commonlt as an accent color. Although these colors can vary depending on their diet; showing through their physical appearance, sometimes being transparent or with their natural color scheme, absorbing the pigments from food source. Their main abilities are to mimic another organism's appearances, altering their very own. Generally, the bunny or rabbit form is quite traditional. Vegetarian/Vegan Sea bunnies tend to have this appearance the most on average. For carnivores, they then take prey’s toxins/venom naturally. Other abilities for all of these types of sea bunnies are to be noted in the near future.

And finally, Umiko on the other hand, due to not being a 100% pure breed, she is unable to feed normally. If only pure breeds can do as said above, then this means, in order to survive..... she has to now find a food supply elsewhere, but how will her own abilities compare?

Genre/Plotline ; ;
Umiko is imprisoned in what feels like a endless time loop, yet she cannot entirely confirm this, seemingly as the world never stops and nothing repeats itself. From what she can recall, she can only remember her last moments being murdered and dying. But in a turn of events, is brought back into the world, unharmed and alive; like she woke up from a long dream. Questioning everything, she must test if this is simply perplexing Deja vu or actual reality.

FAQ & Notes ;

• Sea bunnies are very similar to Vampires, Sirens/Succubus (nonsexual), Kitsunes, and other inspired mythical creatures.
• Originally, I wanted and designed Umiko to a normal sea bunny, but after a while I found that idea boring, so I decided to add a little twist and horror elements in it as I found that to be so much more interesting.
• When first thinking of designing my Vtuber I initially wanted to be a nurse Vtuber, but quickly I realized I don’t know much about nursing or anything related to that nor did I have the right mindset for an actual nurse, even fiction. Tbh i just really like that aesthetic,, so Umi being a “nurse” sort of makes up for it.
• On the same note, I also didn’t like the idea being related to the ocean and a slug. I much more like a new unidentified species/urban legend/creepypasta idea.
• All the various forms of Umis dresses and have different demeanors, even desires and personalities almost. They are all same person, and only are triggered based on hunger level and emotions.
• Ebumi can be any Umiko Form (Kurota De Vil, An gel of Mercy, etc.) but the male equivalent version.
• If it wasn’t clear enough, Umi consumes human emotions, specifically Love. How? It appears as a physical manifestation and appears to look like ink or blood or blobs of something dark and gushy. All the manifestations, desires, emotions from others.

꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Q: What fashion styles does Umi dress in?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: Umi tends to dress in lolita in most of time in her forms, whether it's whole coord . (Lolita term for a complete lolita outfit, called coordinate.) or not. if it was more casual, it would be in more gothic or dark yet cute yami-kawaii/menhera. elements of this fashion spreads out throughout all of Umi's outfits.
⁞ ⿻. Kurota De Vil dresses in gothic/victorian lolita. Korean Gothic/Grunge Fashion styled clothing if casual.
⁞ ⿻. Umiko An Gel dresses in shiro nurse/ero lolita. Japanese jirai/menhera kei fashion styled clothing if casual.
⁞ ⿻. Biblically Accurate Sea Bunny Umiko dresses in.. monochromic colors or in all white colors. She finds colors to compliment it.
⁞ ⿻. Ebumi Dar Lin can dress the male variations of each form, but as himself, dresses very classical/elegant.

꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: Yes. Though Ebumi may refer Umi as a different person; even though they’re the same person, all of Umiko's forms consider themselves a different part of the same person.
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Q: So what exactly is Umiko's gender if she can also be a male?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: Umiko fits perfectly as GENDERFLUID. "Pink and Blue represent femininity and masculinity, while Purple is inclusive of both masculinity and femininity. Meanwhile, the Black stripe stands for those who do not associate with any gender, while the white stripe includes all genders."
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Q Are all the Umiko forms the same person?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: Yes and no. Technically yes, but all forms are different versions of the same person.
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Q: Can more than one Umiko/Ebumi form exist at the same time?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: No. Only one form can exist. Ebumi forms are not technically the real Ebumi, UNLESS the loop starts as him.
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Q: What is the difference between Ebumi waking up first in each loop than Umiko?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: Ebumi IS aware of the time loops, the forms, and is able to remember previous lives and past memories. Umiko IS not aware and is unable to remember previous memories of current form or other forms.

꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: No. She is only considered yandere because she targets yanderes as a diet, that’s what she becomes overall.

꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: To her, they are the most delicious, exquisite taste. Think of the most Twisted and Toxic type of Love to exist,, the most darkest and disturbing. I mean, that’s just her preference, she can also go for Pure Love itself, but to her that’s like eating something very plain, dry, and unseasoned. It’s just unpleasant and definitely not enough nutrients for her, in fact it's almost inedible. What she needs has to be toxic or full of negative or at least, twisted emotions.
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › Q: Why did you specifically choose yanderes for the lore?
꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: I wanted a Hunter vs. Hunter or prey vs. predator dynamic between Umi and her targets, so that they are almost the level as her to be fair. This animatic and song is what i've imagined how it would be like, for an example; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7m3CEb6Z2wY in her Targets eyes, they think they are the one hunting her down and she is the next victim. Little they know, it's the other way around.

꒰★꒱ ⁞ › A: No, she doesn’t kill. If anything she is at most the cause of death unintentionally,, symptoms include memory loss, paranoia, and nightmares that depend on the relations with Umi. (to be added)

Resurrective Immortality and Biological immortality : an absence of aging. specifically the absence of a sustained increase in rate of mortality as a function of chronological age, while can be injured like anyone else, and can also suffer, survive or die from an illness but will not stay dead.

Umiko's "Huntress" Sea Bun form. The first "original" loop. In the beginning, She puts herself at harm's way in order to find what suits her tastes. Even risking death. She had tried other sources that might satisfy her, but she either found that boring or tasteless as a result. Strangely after some time, what Umiko discovers she is immensely attracted to is the sense of danger/apprehension/etc. found in emotions from humans. Even more strange, she finally discovers what her fulfills her hunger. After sometime experimenting with some.. unfortunate victims, it is found this form has the most chance to be resurrected, being the most targeted out of all her forms, since her confrontations are more direct.With blood like this, it shall be royal.. to be royal......

Umiko's Disguise Human form. Umiko is a "Nurse" as her human identity to pass as a human. Although she does nothing of the sort of what normal nurses do. In this form, her victims are more like her actual patients to her almost. Tending to them, she can obtain her needed life supply in a somewhat more humane way. Some can actually be cured, but some cannot be. Those patient(s) that can't often experience 'Reverse Florence Nightingale Effect' as if she was an angel to save them; but this is too much. This is a Sin. Now her efforts are forever obsolete. Madness is taking over...This imbalance creates an unhealthy obsession with her remaining feed, losing her consciousness in this form....oh, don't worry my dear patient... I'll save you.....

Overeaten Umiko Form. A Final type of form that will surface if Umiko ever overeats. She is described as a "chunni"; her desire to have a heart means to grow one by the most unthinkable way. This fixation worsens as she lives through these loops. Shockingly, only in this form she is able recall a past self of favoring roses, but no longer being a human, she is unable to comprehend this bittersweet nostalgia; the lovesickening, toxic emotions she so devoured overwrites this memory and personality. Believing this will help her regrow a heart again, she waters and tends to a special rose garden of hers. To feed and care this lovely garden, means to........ crush and grind up human bones for the soil! Mix! Mix! Stir! Stir! Stir! Stir! Making a garden for my love! I stir and mix! Umiko's Male form. Finally gaining the ability to shift into genders into a male version of herself naturally, A male form has developed, as sea bunnies are genderless. Although preferring being female as it's more dominate and feels right, she is able to switch to being Ebumi whenever, but only as a male equivalent, and not the true form of Ebumi. Unlike her, he experiences more human emotions 10x more than any of her forms, evidence that Ebumi is more capable of human emotions. He experiences and suffers with more mental or even physical illnesses/sickness from how intense his human emotions are, possibly even Umi's that could worsen it. Little is known about him, as he seems to even have his own forms that seem influenced by other forms or almost are entirely new but are rarely seen. Not having a big appetite, he can tolerate hunger. He will even go lengths to avoid eating all together, causing a greyness or black and white, or washed out appearance. To others, this could look like he is gravely unwell. In the end, he can't avoid this forever and caves into......
