What is Obsessive love disorder

Obsessive love disorder is not a medically recognized disorder but refers to a fixation on another person as if they are a possession or object. A person may experience symptoms such as delusional jealousy, in which a person's obsessions cause them to develop delusional beliefs about infidelity or other issues. One with O.L.D may feel an overwhelming obsessive desire to possess and protect another person, sometimes with an inability to accept failure or rejection. O.L.D is now more commonly known as BPD
O.L.D vs Hyperromantic - O.L.D does not necessarily have to be romantic. A person who is hyperromantic may not have delusions or intense jealousy, they may not also be fixated on a person and instead the concept of romance.
