What Star Kingdoms is about.

Star Kingdoms is a game about war and diplomacy. You should defend your own land while attacking other kingdoms (every successful attack will give you 10% of their land). Use this land to build different buildings, which will make it easier for you to get a strong military force. A kingdom with 500 residences and 25,000 population will be able to train twice as many soldiers as a kingdom with 250 residences and 12,500 population, and he will also get twice as much money from taxes. Star kingdoms has no real goals, so you will have to decide for yourself what you wish to do.

Some try to become no.1 in the universe, many persons who do not play quite as active will probably just try to stay alive until the game ends, and other ones are just playing because it is fun.

Each kingdom consists of a couple of different things, which you should get more and more of all the time. You can also say that the one who has the most of those and also is able to protect his kingdom from other persons attacks will be the one that "wins" the game:

·An army.
·Land and buildings.
·Civilians and Probes.
·Money.

The buildings

There are eight different buildings in star kingdoms.

·Residences - population is one of the most important things when building a kingdom. You can draft 10% of your civilians into soldiers, so the more population you have, the more soldiers you will be able to train. Each residence holds 50 civilians, which will increase to max. 60 when the population bonus is researched. The good thing is that the civilians will pay taxes each hour, but the bad thing is that they require a little bit of power. Population will increase with 2,5% each hour as most until longevity is researched.

·Barracks - barracks hold military units. Each barrack will be able to house 75 military units. If you do not have enough barracks, the military will move into the residences, and kick out your civilians.

·Star Mines - Star mines does not require any power. They produce 120 money/hour each, which is increased when by money bonus.

·Training Camps - the training camps will decrease the cost of training military units. For each % of your land used for training camps, the cost will decrease with 3%, until you have 10% training camps. After that, it won’t change any more.

·Nuclear Power Plants - those buildings will produce 100 power/hour each, which will increase when researching power bonus. They will be able to store a maximum amount of 500 power each, and any excess power will be lost.

·Fusion Power Plants - better version of the nuclear power plants. Will produce 140 power/hour + power bonus, and store a maximum of 1,000 power each. Requires fusion technology research on 100% to be constructed.

·Air Support Bays - holds 35 tactical fighters each, but requires Vesudian core & AI Technology research on 100% to be constructed. Without those buildings, you won’t be able to attack with your tactical fighters.

·Factories - manufacture probes. (you get 0.7 probe for every factory you have every hour, which means that a person with 10 factories get 7 probes/h.)
