I have two shading styles in pt, one is a warm tone with dark outlines and the other is light tone with light outlines, I learned it myself because i frequently tweak with shading and color theory and what looks good on a pony. Usually I just stick to light colors then change the outline to the right of the color wheel a few centimeters away from the base color. If you think my style is similar to yours PLEASE reach out/confront me, I am a very understanding person, however I do not claim to copy anyone EXACTLY.
