gbro's troubleshooting for mood/thoughts/arousal stats for Venus and j.ai

Before I begin- I've tried what I could on my end to prevent the stats from getting cut off. I've tried writing stuff into the definition to encourage the bot to generate the full stats within the {{user}}'s token limit, I always include 3 example dialogues that have the stats represented- it seems that sometimes the bot will just sometimes be stubborn and just not generate the stats in full or at all.

So I tried to make a guide with how I usually get the stats if the bot is being stubborn. Usually when you fix the first few messages, the AI will be smart enough to begin to pick up on it.

In regards to Mars/Mercury/other APIs

As of right now, this guide is only applicable for OAI users. I've seen Mars/Mercury users having issues with the stats generating, but I don't know what is the problem since I don't use those APIs. My guess is that my bots might be a bit too token heavy for Mars/Mercury? but I don't have a point of reference for this so take my word with a grain of salt. If there's anyone who is familiar with how Mars/Mercury works that can provide insight on how it might be interacting with my stats, please shoot me a message on my curiouscat.

But this is so tedious...

I know, Im sorry. :( I wish I had a better solution, but this is the best I can offer based off of my own experience. Usually prompting the bot by reinforcing the first few messages usually fixes the stat generation issue for the long run, so hopefully this guide can at least be of some help.

Venus

  1. Encounter the issue

Image description

  1. Edit the bot's response, and add 3 backticks and "mood:", and then press the generation button

Image description

  1. Now you have the stats that you need. Copy and paste those stats into the bot's prior response

Image description

  1. Once you copy and paste the stats into the bot's response, delete the extra generated reply (as to not confuse the bot) and there you have the stats

j.ai

  1. Encounter the issue

Image description

  1. Prompt the bot to generate the stats, and edit the formatting as needed

Image description

  1. Copy and paste the bot's generated response, edit the bot's response to include the stats, and then delete you prompting the bot. There you have the stats

The stats won't generate even though I tried doing what you told me!

I'm sorry... I wish I could help more but this is all I can offer...
