Use Common Sense

• If you think what you are about to post could get you banned, do not post it.
• Moderators may remove comments, hide threads, lock replies, mute you, or ban you without a prior warning for serious violations.

Don't Spoil

• Mark spoilers before you post. Use the Spoil? toggle on your comment and/or wrap text in spoiler tags (see below).
• Comments that are not marked as spoiler when they contain spoilers may still be removed or lead to a ban.
• Fake or joke spoilers can still be treated as spoilers if they are not obviously a joke.
• Word theories carefully so they are not read as spoilers. Confirming or denying theories counts as spoiling.
• Spoiler baiting, hinting at spoilers, or asking others to spoil is not allowed.
• All Episode (series-wide) comments should stay spoiler-free for people browsing the whole show. Use them for general opinions and discussion without plot details.
• Episode comments may discuss that episode and earlier episodes only. Material from later episodes, unaired content, or source material beyond the current episode is a spoiler.
• Use Report Spoil on comments that break this rule.

Don't Advertise

• Do not link to other anime streaming sites, download pages, or competing platforms.
• Do not tell people to watch or read on another site (names, “go to X”, disguised links, QR codes, etc.).
• Do not post fake or copycat sites that imitate Anikoto or other services.
• Official licensed platforms may be mentioned in passing when relevant, but do not post links to them in comments.

Flaming & Toxicity

• Hostile, disrespectful, or insulting messages between users are not allowed.
• Discrimination, hate speech, slurs, or targeted harassment of any group or person is not allowed.
• Bullying, dogpiling, or making fun of other users is not allowed.

Off-Topic & Low-Effort Comments

• Political debates and unrelated topics are not allowed. Mentions of other anime are fine if the main point is still about the anime on this page.
• Single-word or low-effort spam (e.g. random letters, “first”, “bump”) may be removed.
• Large ASCII or text art is not allowed.
• Spamming timestamps, copy-pasting the same comment, or flooding a thread is not allowed.
• Copying someone else's comment from Anikoto or elsewhere without permission is not allowed.

NSFW Content

• Sexual, graphic, or pornographic text or links are not allowed in comments.
• This includes suggestive content involving minors (zero tolerance — permanent ban).
• NSFW usernames or profile content used to harass the comment section may be actioned.

Multiple Accounts & Vote Abuse

• Using alt accounts to break rules puts all related accounts at risk.
• Upvoting your own comments or downvoting others with alts is not allowed.
• Replying to yourself with alts to push your comments up (comment boosting) is not allowed.

GIFs, Images & Links

• Use the built-in GIF picker for animated images when possible.
• Plain URLs may be hidden behind a “Link hidden” chip for safety; click Show only if you trust the destination.
• Do not use comments to share malware, scams, or unrelated shock sites.
• Only staff-approved image uploads may use inline image embeds; do not try to bypass filters.
