Hello, I go by Haven or Chepi, as well as a great amount of other names. I am bodily 16 ('08) and use mainly she/he and other pronouns. I often use the term 'bigender' to describe my gender, but I more closely identify with neutral/fluid genders. Bigender serves as a filler for two-spirit, which is a pain to explain constantly.
I speak English, Spanish, Jamaican Patois, and Gullah well; I'm less versed in Italian, Latin, Arabic, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. I am black (African-American, Caribbean), Egyptian, and Native American (Waccamaw and others).
I am medically recognized, but not formally diagnosed, with polyfragmented DID. I am currently unable to receive a proper diagnosis.
I am severely disordered, and it affects my daily life and how I interact with people. I have many unstable parts, and this may cause me to unintentionally disrespect boundaries or preferences. Please confront me upfront and bluntly, as I have trouble understanding otherwise.
I tend to use I/me when referring to myself for information; otherwise, I use we/us. I also switch between terms like parts, headmates, etc. often.
If you are unsure who you are speaking to, do not assume. Ask.
I experience fluctuating levels of amnesia, and may forget events or even people. Most memories are shared amongst others, or simply are retellings. Please do not assume familiarity means experience.
