TFW you will never live out the happy social life of a married couple with Kronii
A couple of years since you sealed the deal with Kronii
Most afternoons are spent cuddling on the couch, watching movies or browsing for memes to make each other laugh
After dinner one night, Kronii tells you that Sana wants to go on a double date
You think it sounds like a fun time so you happily agree
Date night arrives and you've just finished freshening up
Standing by the front door you wait for Kronii
She waltzes out of the bedroom into view, flashing you a sly smile before twirling to show off all angles
"What do you think?"
You haven't seen Kronii this dolled up in a while
High heels, makeup and that fancy necklace you bought her last valentines
She has on the same dress she wore on one of your first dates years ago
A long navy blue gown that shimmers as she moves
Memories of that night rush back to you
The laughs
The passion
The stained sheets you two spent hours trying to clean together
It felt like so long ago now
You're awestruck, barely able to get out the words, you say "Beautiful as ever."
She struts past you and out the door, brushing the back of her hand against your cheek
"I know."
You'll never get tired of that side of her
You compose yourself then turn to follow her
She's not there
That's strange, you were sure she just walked out the door
You walk back inside and peak around the house
She's not here either
You run to the bedroom, only to find all of Kronii's drawers and closet space completely empty
You panic and lie on the bed, shielding your eyes from reality
You try to think of where she could have gone
In your thoughts her face becomes blurry
You start to forget the feel of her touch when she'd snuggle against you on the couch
You forget the sweet smell of her hair when she'd just get out of the shower
You forget the tingles of her soft breath hitting your chest when you'd cuddle and drift off to sleep together
You try to remember with every ounce of your being, but nothing comes too
You weep, the intense emotions exhausting you till you can't stay awake anymore
Your eyes slowly peel open, your mind is groggy, still recovering from your vivid dreams
You sit up
You're in your bedroom
Alone
The low whirring of your ceiling fan is creating a deafening silence
A ding from a Youtube notification sounds off on your phone
"Ouro Kronii's livestream will begin in an hour!"
You rest your head back on your pillows and lazily browse /vt/ through hazy vision
