Here's a "full profile" for EyeBall Tank, that is written too soon as for now.
NOTE: THIS INFORMATION ONLY BECOMES RELEVANT WHEN I START MAKING ACTUAL STUFF, BECAUSE IT'S A PROFILE MEANT TO DESCRIBE MY FUTURE WORK, EVEN IF IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET, SO IT SOUNDS LIKE I'M TALKING ABOUT AN ALTERNATE REALITY.
JUST PRAY I ACTUALLY MAKE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE SHIT AND STOP BEING LAZY.
AT LEAST YOU GET TO KNOW ABOUT MY AMBITIONS AND DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE, EVEN IF RIGHT NOW I GOT NOTHING BUT OH WELL.
What i want to make is a series of different games focused on different characters and settings.
I want to start things in an easy way with less ambition, so more complex ideas show up later as a grow as a creator.
And i'm partially saying this because i have a lot of ideas and plans i want to see realized, even if some things will obviously change or take a while.
It's a series that could even go through different genres, art styles and presentations.
And i want it to feel sincere and great because of it, since this includes characters and settings i came up with for some years.
Even if a game is "finished", i could still update it, either to fix specific issues or just to add a bit more stuff.
I'm mostly planning to use free and open source software that could help.
I heard Godot is meant to be helpful and very good with 2D, though in certain occasions i may use different engines (Like GZDoom for an FPS related project).

While I have a lot of plans and ideas for what I want to make, I know some things may change and I can't do it alone, so expect me to always ask for help.
Things i may need help include:

  • Making sure gameplay is fun and good enough to inspire replays and exploration (Without something manipulative like convoluted upgrade/skill trees in non RPG games).
  • Making sure the games perform well and the programming/code behind the scenes is at a reasonable level.
  • Making sure things are well organized and menus, user interfaces, HUDs, fonts, all of it works and is organized at an acceptable level.
  • Making sure certain features are well implemented.
  • Making sure the art and visuals are acceptable enough, both with design, feedback and overall quality.
  • Even if the art style still has flaws, it still needs some charm/soul or attention to detail.
  • If you contribute to official concept art and illustrations, make sure to include your signature and an easily readable name so audiences can identify your contributions.
  • Making sure the story is interesting enough and character dialogue is both interesting, not that badly written and has acceptable grammar (English is a second language to me).
  • Dialouge isn't just about proper English or avoiding certain cliches/tropes, i want to make sure certain lexicon of words and phrasing fits characters' backgrounds and personalities, as a way to "sell" their character and world.
  • Music in general, because I fear I'm not prepared for that yet (And maybe because of plagiarism lol).
  • New ideas to make the gameplay, story, characters, designs and other things more interesting (I must credit others in this part specifically)
  • If possible, translation to other languages and accessibility options/features.
I also must make sure anyone that ever helps is credited and if possible/needed, paid, even when i want to make my things for free.
It is a series i want to make sure has a great level of variety and different things, so different touches by other people can help.

I also want to make sure people are paid before their work/contribution in these projects, to make things fair and honest (Because i don't want to scam people and i wouldn't be good at it anyway).
And if you ever need to take a break or leave a project because of reasons (Health, personal issues, real life events getting in the way etc), you deserve to take that break, since i don’t want to rush or harden the contributions and works of others.
I also hope to make it up by helping others with their works (This is IF i get more talented and skilled as a creator).

Because i plan to make my games free and early access, I will make sure they're always available even when they're still developed.
This is because i want to give my potential audience more transparency/honesty, receive better feedback and make sure my works are properly preserved and accessible, even if something happens to me or my projects, to make sure it's not lost media.
Even if it means spoiling surprises but that's another thing: I want my ideas to be well executed.
Unless there could be changes or exceptions, because I want to make money from the things I've made.
I also spoil my plans in case it increases someone's interest and if someone wants to help realize those ideas.

If you want to financially support me:
I do not have a Patreon or Kofi right now, but that is one thing i plan to do when the time is right.
I will not lock anything behind pay fees, so these sites could serve as optional donations for the sake of financial support and motivation, even the smallest amount can help.
If things change, i could find other ways to make money, be it using Youtube/Twitch streams in my favor or somehow make good enough art even for something as simple as cheap art commissions for simple sketches
I live in the EU, so Euros are obviously the currency.
I still plan to have a real life job to still gain money, but i still want to gain something with my creations.

If you want to know where to find me:

If you want to make a fangame with my characters:

  • Wait to see if the character(s) you want to use have yet to make a real debut/appearence in a project of mine (Because if a character has not yet shown up properly, then they might not even exist at that point).
  • Make sure to credit me and tell your audiences that they're my creations (Specially if they interact with YOUR characters).
  • Use your own art if possible.
  • You can be a bit creative with their designs/gameplay/personalities, but try setting up notes indicating your own personal touches and how they differ from my interpretations.
  • Do not monetize your game including my characters, because so far, I want my projects to be free and I fear a potential (Even if accidental) copyright situation causing my characters to be robbed from me (Especially because of modern policies and where I live).
  • I may have more rules of how the characters should be used but they may refer to my own projects and personal preferences as opposed to fanmade ones.
  • Please, do not make merchandise of my characters, as I don't even want to make something as simple as stickers or pins.
Even then, i still hope you have fun with my characters.

I'm aware of some potential criticisms to be made about my projects and some can be true, but I still want to make sure this project comes to life and the journey ends up being successful.
Even with all that could happen, I still want to make sure there's a positive impact from all of this.
ENDS HERE
I thought of this Just-In-Case future profile for a while, even if it's too soon and not practical but hopefully you get the idea.

"No i didn't, you didn't even specify or show what ideas you actually want to make! What characters? Who are they?"

Originally i'd say "Not now, i want to wait a little until the right time to show off my things." but you know what?
Here's my OC post:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QWjE2D9l4qEJQ3rzirwRv3P5pTL15K1Hf8es6vMVG4k
It's long, confusing, bloated, but at least you get to see what i want to bring into fruition and, hopefully, like some ideas in it.
Even then, this profile isn't perfect but anyway, may the future change for the better.
This is an example of me updating the post:
https://www.diffchecker.com/t7GS8iEi/
And this link may soon be outdated if i do another update.
I decided to STOP updating my OC post and plan to work on real content after i get a better PC.
When my projects are good enough, i will refer to my characters as characters and no longer "OC".
2023: Did another update but i am making a game as of writing this, so hopefully you get to know things without reading a large wall of text.
