[#1] General shop purchase advice

[1a] Normal Shop: Buy the 4x artifacts in the shop daily

Wisdom1a

Some people also purchase Lesser and Normal Enhancement Stones but those have lower priority. Reason for that is because gear upgrades can overwhelm people who possess many students. Consider buying them especially during Double Drop events for Normal Missions when you get more gear blueprints than you know which student to give them to. Otherwise you will have to depend on event shops to gather a large quantity of them.

[1b] Eligma Shop: Only spend eligma on character eleph

Wisdom1b

Even when you do decide to use your Eligma to buy character shards, always remember to use your Eligma wisely.
To be more specific, many people consider only using Eligma to buy character shards from students who are either limited or unfarmable.
See this image to see which ones are farmable via hard nodes and visit this link to see which student elephs can be bought from the shops.

[1c] Total Assault Shop: Buy to prepare for the next raid

Wisdom1c

This shop refreshes once every two weeks on the day of the new raid. Players usually use this shop to selectively buy skill upgrade material (skill books and BDs) to upgrade their students that are most likely used for this raid or the next ones. It's important to know that this shop is not used to buy things in excess but only buy as much as you need.

This here is my personal opinion:

  • Buy Kotama Elephs to 3* immediately, afterwards you may stop
  • Buy Maki and Akane Elephs, they are prominently used in several raids
  • Buy as many Azusa Elephs as you can (you gain purple coins by clearing the raid at a high difficulty)
  • Buy Hanae and Chinatsu Elephs only if you use them. For raids, they're typically only used for Hieronymus.
  • Buy Secret Tech Notes, this shop is the primary way to obtain them. These notes are used to max a student's non-EX skills.
  • Buy much needed skill books and BDs. Dont buy in bulk, dont buy in advance -> Buy only as many as you need
  • Never buy Booster Tickets, this were put in as a practical joke

[1d] Tactical Challenge Shop: Either save up or buy the AP drinks

The PVP shop is for the 2x AP drinks, save your surplus for events that offer a better "reward per AP spent" ratio.

Wisdom1d

Only buy those character eleph if you really want to use them, they all have niche use cases.
They are by no means must-have students.

Remember that you can refresh the PVP shop

Refreshing the PVP shop costs 10 coins and you can do it up to 3x daily.
You can refresh to repeatedly buy those Energy Drinks for a total expenditure of 210 PVP coins for 360 bonus AP daily.

[1e] Joint Firing Drill Shop: Secret Notes and Fusion Keystones

Wisdom1e

This shop only refreshes once every new Joint Firing Drill event. Players typically buy the Secret Tech Notes and the Superior Fusion Keystones. These keystones can be used to craft specific item choice boxes, which guarantees certain materials - be it artifacts, furniture or skill books/BDs. The character elephs only benefit those who uses them in their formation.
Decide on your purchases based on the amount of coins you can get per day/drill.

[1f] Expert Permit Shop: Buy what you(!) need

Do you want your Expert Permit Shop to look like this? No, it's not possible for you yet. You are far from reaching this reality.

Wisdom1f

The Expert Permit Shop refreshes once per month and getting these permits is only possible via completing daily and weekly missions.
That is, until you reach max level: This is when you start to get one permit for each AP spent, which drastically changes your purchase plans and flexibility.

Before you reach that point though, you'll have to think about what your account needs most. Be it EXP reports, credits, eligma or other things.

Don't buy character elephs from students you don't possess, you won't be able to claim them outside of their limited banner (rerun).

Korean Worth Calculation

It was calculated that the worth payout priority goes like this: Credits > Limited Elephs (that you need) > Pins > Eligma > Reports > rest
but once your level is maxed, you usually get so many permits that you can buy most of what you need.

[#2] Don't do commissions outside of double commission drop event

Wisdom2

Do the cheapest commission for 5AP once for the daily task, if you want.
The reward for the weekly task of clearing commissions 15times is not worth considering.

[#3] It's alright to refill AP 3x times a day when you are still low level

Wisdom3

Refreshing AP three times will require 90 Pyroxene for 360 bonus AP.
As a low level player, it is often recommended to spend as much AP as possible in order to gain levels quickly.

Players need to weigh up their desire to pull VS their desire to quickly level up. They would essentially sacrifice 5 pulls per week to gain 2.5x days worth of AP. Players do agree to refresh during worthwhile events that offer a larger reward payout per AP expenditure.

The pyroxene cost will increase after every 3 refills

It is not recommended to refill more than three times without any plausible reason.

[#4] Crafting Advice

Wisdom4

If you are unsure how to craft, only unlock the first subnode for best overall results. That's what most players do.

Crafting priority for first subnode.

If you do decide to unlock the second subnode, consider this:

  • Unlocking the second subnode will cost 2x Keystones or 20x Keystone Pieces. (the unlock for the first subnode costs only half in comparison)
  • The total crafting time will increase.
  • You will craft both items from each subnode, the crafting pool is separate from first and second subnode.
  • Some nodes will become more specific, which helps to narrow down your potential crafting results.
  • Second subnodes do not contain any items that can't be also obtained within the first subnodes.

[#5] Every AP you spend will increase your sensei exp meter

Wisdom7

As long as you keep spending your AP, you'll steadily increase your level.
It doesn't matter where you spend your AP. You can either sweep Normal Missions for gear blueprints or sweep hard stage nodes for character eleph.

[#6] Pyro can be used to refresh AP, shops, hard nodes and pvp tickets

Wisdom8

This information can be useful for:

Refreshing AP during highly rewarding events
Refreshing hard nodes during double drop event
Refreshing PVP tickets during new PVP season for easier seasonal rewards

[#7] Remember to upgrade your cafe rank for more passive AP income

Wisdom9

You can upgrade your cafe by using so-called Cafe Facilities Cores.
They are automatically rewarded by clearing the following Normal Missions for the very first time:

  • 2-1
  • 3-5
  • 6-5
  • 9-5
  • 12-5
  • 15-5
  • 18-5

[#8] Consider only pulling when you can guarantee the banner character

Wisdom10

One pull for 120 Pyroxene will grant you 1x recruitment point.
You can exchange 200x recruitment Points AKA 24 000 Pyroxene for one banner student of your choice.

Important!

Recruitment Points (Pity) won't carry over. Always consider the worst-case scenario!

[#9] On a fresh account

You will definitely find yourself with a mountain of AP while possessing a ridiculously low max AP storage - therefore you are unable to naturally generate AP.

Your first goal should be to progress as far as you can.
Please do not worry about being unable to 3* clearing the missions, you can always retry them at a later date once you are stronger.

Here is how doing that will benefit you:

  • You can join a club upon clearing 3-4. Visiting your club once a day will give you 10 AP but most importantly: You will then be able to borrow students from your club mates for Joint Exercises or Raids. You can also set students up for borrowing and they will generate credits passively.
Don't worry: even though you are lending them out, you can still use them normally without repercussions.
  • Total Assault (the Raid mode) will unlock upon clearing 4-1. Raids are an important reoccuring event that grants players a large amount of pyroxenes and raid coins which can be exchanged for valuable resources and student elephs. The duration is one week and happen biweekly.
Remember that you can borrow your club's students by clicking on Formation within student selection.
  • Joint Exercises will unlock upon clearing 5-3. Joint Exercises are also reoccuring events but unlike raids, they dont follow a fixed schedule. They do reward coins that can be exchanged for really good items such as Secret Notes and shop-exclusive Fusion Keystones.
Remember that you can borrow your club's students by clicking on Formation within student selection.
  • Tactical Challenge (the PVP mode) will unlock upon clearing 6-1. You will gain a daily reward of PVP coins and Pyroxene depending on your rank. The earlier you unlock it, the earlier you can start climbing the ranks and gain a daily income of pvp coins.
  • Clearing any of the Normal Missions listed here will reward the player with an cafe upgrade material - directly increasing the daily AP income once the cafe has been upgraded with it.
  • Unusual milestone is reaching and clearing 10-4. This is the primary mission to sweep for T4 bag blueprints, which will turn all tanks who can wear them into beafy beasts. For example, these students here will thank you for it: Tsubaki, Hoshino, Haruka, Tsurugi, Natsu
