/bd2g/ 3.0 Anni Mini FAQ

Will be updated through the anni period as more unit kits/rebalance details are revealed

I'm a newglutti. What do?

Follow the tutorial and clear SP1 of the Main Story (I recommend playing a bit further to get a feel of the game's combat) to unlock the anniversary pack, Cruise Protocol. Like the other event and character packs it uses preset units on Normal difficulty. They are just puzzles, so anyone can clear them.

Pack

Q: Do I need to play any other packs before I hop in?
Not really. Character/Event packs are self-contained, but if you care for >lore you can play Beauty Impossible (Character Pack) for Schera/Elise daily life spy stuff, as well as the previous summer event packs (Summer Knight→Beachside Angels→Splash Queen) for the summer vibe (and draw tickets!)
There are also VN-style stories in post-pack settings, but these are likewise optional. If you care for them: Homescreen>Story>Season Events.

Once you feel like you want to explore and really get into the rest of the game:

  • Progress the Main Story. Aim to clear at least up to SP1-10 (Homunculus) to obtain your free Diana and some other relevant units.
  • Complete the Event Missions (Homescreen>Events) for a free +5 Dalvi and Bride Eclipse, both great units to have as a new player.
  • Start crafting Gear. Buffers & Gear dominate this game. For now aim to craft five +9 upgraded Blue (R) IV set for your team to use.
  • Once you have a basic team setup (eg got your free Dalvi/Eclipse + gave them some gear) you can clear Cruise Protocol and the other event packs on Hard > Very Hard difficulty, which gets you 20 more tickets per pack. Despite the name, event packs are easy to do on the higher difficulties.
For more tips and guidance see the Progression Checklist and FAQ.

If you need a break from combat there are casual contents like Fishing and Territory (Fantasia Square), the Minigames in the Arcade (check out Pandora Escape and Slap!Slap!Pop!), romancing Fated Guests who show up in the Glupy Diner, you name it. There's a lot to do.

Units: Who do I pull for?

The girls you like the most, since that is what gacha games are about. A single copy of a costume (+0) unlocks her L2D and cutscene for the Homescreen, as well as her dating content (if she has it).

BD2 gives you 300+ free draw tickets every month, and even more during anniversaries. The game is designed so that even F2P casual players can obtain a copy of every banner girl. You also get a free daily pull on every banner, so rather than trying +5ing her on Day 1 you can opt to wait a bit and see what the free daily pulls give you first. Finally, you'll be able to buy 1 copy of every non-limited from the power shop after her banner.

If you care for meta or value then read on below.

Where to get more PULLS?

  1. Participate in the in-game anniversary events.
  2. Clear out all Event packs on all 3 difficulties (30 pulls per pack). Cruise Protocol is time-limited, so be advised.
  3. Complete all Character Packs on [Normal] difficulty (10 pulls each).
  4. Start clearing out the Towers (Evil Castle): Desire/Wrath/Jealousy.
  5. Swipe. Anni events have by far the best deals of the year. If you enjoy the game and want to spend, this is the time to do it.
When spending remember that the webshop exists (see below)

Anniversary Packages: What is Best Value?

Basically any time-limited packages or passes with terms like "MEGA", "ANNIVERSARY" or "DELUXE" in the name.
See the Value per pack Reference (or read below), and don't get roped into bait packages.

  1. [3 Days] MEGA Sale Package ($4.29): Get this one even if you don't plan to spend ever. Five 5★ costumes, 100 standard pulls, 2 URIII gear sets, and 6+ months' worth of crystals for $5, it's a value you won't see ever again. It is available for 3days after you start the game, and it won't rerun.
    Mega
  2. [90 Days] MEGA MASTER PACKAGE ($8): 45 pulls, 30 standard pulls, 3M gold, 3 Tears, 300k powders, 2 full URIV sets and some other stuff for just $8 makes it not as good as the 3-day MEGA Sale package, but still very worthwhile. Can be bought 3x max.
  3. [Limited] 3.0 Special 10x Pass ($4.29): 34 pulls and 330k refinement powders for less than 5 bucks is pretty good.
  4. [Permanent] RENEW Special Dash Packages: About the same # of pulls (though the majority is standard pulls), gold and tears as the Master pack, but for double the price. The difference lies in the extra items: instead of 300k powders and 2 URIV sets you get Elixirs, Essences, Slimes, and 3000 of each crystal type. A lower priority as these can be bought anytime.
  5. Monthly Dia Login Packs (2>1): You can never go wrong with these. 12 and 25 pulls for $4.29 and $8 respectively if you login every day.

BD2 Webshop

BD2 also has webshop (https://webshop.browndust2.global/en-US). What makes the webshop good is that you can easily use the "Change Region" option to set your region to Japan/Turkey and their way cheaper currency, which eg make a Prestige Skin cost max 45$ instead of 60$ and special skins $10 instead of $17. The developers repeatedly remind players that this option exists.

-If you do use the JP/Yen or TK/Lira option you likely will need to use a VPN to finalize your purchase. Even just a free one like Tunnelbear, Mudfish will do - activate, select the set country, refresh the page and finalize your purchase (don't forget to re-apply the coupon!)
-Webshop mileage expires after 30days. It is a good idea to start with your single one biggest planned purchase of the month first (use the free -20% coupon here), and then use up your mileage on cheaper stuff.

2026 Summer Costumes

LIMITED units are not added to the Powder Shop/12pick Selection and cannot be obtained outside of their (yearly) rerun banner.

The bulk of the anni costumes appear in June. July and August have more reruns, including 7day banners of males and other more obscure units.
Some of these still have value for endgame (pvp) players, but are mostly rerun so that players can collect cashback tickets from undesired spooks.

tldr: Keep some tickets on hand to +5 BATeresse in July. Luvencia (Limited) is a long-term investment if new (you need her other costumes).
Limited Justia/Schera are PvP units, and you get Justia for free (also the only copy you truly need of her, see below).
The rest is which girls you like or what you think sounds good/your roster needs.

June/Anni Banners

Morp
BVMorpeah [FINISHED] | 14D Rerun, Permanent unit
Priority: Preference | Target: +0 (Utility) or +5 (DPS) | Uses: ToS, PvE Stalling, PvP Defense (+0), FH (+5)

The queen of utility. This costume functions exceptionally well on its own, and most of its value is at +0: with her summons BVMorp has 3 different types of reposition, can wall tough encounters for you until death time buffs, and either nuke or generate SP. At +5 she becomes the current BIS Water DPS in the game, but her playstyle isn't for everyone and Schera Alter (who will likely powercreep her) has been confirmed for Q3/Q4 this year.
Absolutely get least one copy, but +5 is preference.

Luve
(LIMITED) OVLuvencia [6.4~7.1] | 28D LIMITED (reruns 1x per year)
Priority: Preference | Target: +5 | Uses: (Light) Raids

A self-buff costume that allows Luvencia to ramp her damage and upgrade from chainer to main DPS status in longer content like raids (rip Blade). It hits 8x and gives herself a unique buff, where for 6T she gets +3% ATK per chain (max 60 stacks/180% ATK). Above 24 stacks she also gets an additional +10% Chain Damage for 2T (=this costume's hit). This skill's pattern isn't the best however (FWOlivier), so it seems most of the value will be in the boost this gives to her other costumes.

This costume is mainly for competitive or endgame players. If you are new this is a (distant) future investment; you need Luvencia's other costumes for her to function, and since she is quite the SP hog you'll also want the all the SP reductions (potentials/dupes) on the units you'd run with her.

Dalia
Nekyndalia [FINISHED] | 14D, Permanent unit
Priority: Recommended | Target: +1 or +5 | Uses: LN, PvP, Raids

New Magic Wind Chainer/DPS. Compared to Zenith she trades in the +10% chain dmg on 1 tile for +3% on all tiles over a full line AoE (B1), does actual damage, and gets extra hits (10 vs Zenith's 6). Instead of concentrated fire she applies a mark that negates dodge effects for 6turns, which also makes her viable in PvP as a counter to popular units like Olivier, Justia and Rou.

Immediately useful in LN and potentially part of a new Dalvi/Venaka/Dalia wind magic combo, though in the new meta where chainers can also function as Main DPS she may also become a Wind Magic Main DPS by herself (in that case you'd just run her with other chainers). Currently in the 2nd costume waiting room, she is also a permanent unit so if you're low on tickets it wouldn't hurt to stop at +1 and wait for her other costumes.

Stacy
(LIMTED) PPSchera [Rework] [6.4~7.1] | 28D LIMITED (reruns 1x per year)
Priority: Low | Target: +0, +3 or +5 | Uses: PvP, Fire FH/GR (at +5)

Schera is a PvP unit. This costume's purpose is to dispel Gran's taunt on attack (if you play magic) or Seir/Lecliss taunt on defense. This requires you to pull to +3, where she becomes the only other 2SP dispel in the game besides Eleaneer (who is a permanent unit and way more reliable Gran killer).

After 3.0 rework this costume can now also function as a DPS in raids, as PPSchera now gets hefty conditional damage vs. targets with 15+ chains. Her Burst further taps into this; B3 gives herself a 6T chain buff and raises her conditional damage to 2500% (or 1540% if the extra dmg turns out to not be per hit). Still, her pattern remains mid, burst materials remain scarce (buffers first), and we already know that Schera Alter (PvE) is on the way.
+0 for collection, +3 to keep the option of using her in PvP on the table, +5 for big time pvp lovers or those who want to try her new PvE uses.

Mich
Beach Michaela [Rework] [6.4~7.1] | 28D Rerun, Permanent unit
Priority: Low | Target: +1 or +5 | Uses: General PvE, ToS, Raids

The 3.0 rework has salvaged this costume to the point where it is now a proper part of Michaela's skill rotation and damage. It can be used in any PvE scenario where you'd want massive damage over a straight line (or sometimes PvP), but for raids QoS will likely remain her best costume.

Most of this costume's meat is at B3, which enables its +300% MATK self-buff to be carried over to QoS (2>4T buff extension). Combined with other buffers like Granadair and Refi a B3Michaela has the cards to be the current BIS Light DPS, but most players won't experience this anytime soon - sparks are still rare and buffers still take priority. Get +1 to complete her rotation, +5 is if you like her damage, milkers, or are a Light rank chaser.

Darian
Darian [6.4~7.1] | 28D Rerun, Permanent unit
Priority: Preference | Target: +1 or +5 | Uses: LN, ToS, GC, Raids (if you also own Bunny)

By itself this costume is one the strongest DPS options for Last Night, and its pattern also works well in Tower of Salvation and the Golden Colosseum (PvP). To effectively use Darian in raids however you need to own her winter Limited costume. Do get at least +1 for the -SP cost and her free special skin, but you can opt to postpone +5ing until her Limited reruns to focus on other anni units first.

Pigstia
(LIMITED) PPYuti [6.4~7.1] | 28D LIMITED (reruns 1x per year)
Priority: Low | Target: +0 or +5 (PvP) | Uses: PvP & ToS

Like Schera, original Justia is a PvP unit. This is a self-buff for her other costumes and a dodge tank/SP battery for your team. You get 1 copy of this costume for free from completing the Summer Knight pack, and honestly this is the only copy you truly need; her SP recovery comes from a skill potential node, and during your ToS runs you can just +5 her for free via the shop rooms there.
Only bigtime PvP players who have all her other costumes built pull on this costume.

Gran
Medic Granhildr [6.18~7.1] | 14D, Permanent Unit
Priority: Preference (High if you have a built Gran) | Target: +1, +3 or +5 | Uses: Raids (FH/GR)

Granhildr is a core PvP tank that can also dub as one of the strongest Light element DPS in raids - if you built her other costumes. This is a second self-buff and DPS costume, meant to replace her deadweight Void costume in FH/GR rotations and push (Ghost) Gran to even greater heights.

Its built-in CDMG buff gives it some value as a DPS for general PvE clearing (new players), but this costume is mainly for veterans who already have Gran's other costumes (Idol & Ghost) at +5. If you are one of those (or plan to 1/12pick Ghost & Idol Gran to +5 this anni) this is a must +5, if not just +1 for the -SP and Fated Guest.

Gran

July Banners

7day banners not included. Those for who these units can be relevant already know what they are good for.

Teresse
(LIMITED) BATeresse [7.2~7.23] | 28D LIMITED (reruns 1x per year)
Priority: Highest | Target: +5 | Uses: All PvE & PvP (except LN).

The strongest available buffer for any content that relies on the one-turn meta. Packs, towers, event/challenge battles, PvP: the only such content where Teresse is not used is LN. She massively boosts the damage dealt to any target with 6 chains or lower, which pairs exceptionally well with combos like Levia/Loen, single hit nukers like Tyr and S.Justia, and low chain strategies in general (less reliance on unit dupes/SP).

What makes BATeresse broken however is that she buffs ALL forms of damage, including DoTs but also Counter damage (Blade/Lecliss/Sylvia), Fixed Damage (Glacia/Justia) and HP% Damage (Angelica/Rou). Also has a cowkini prestige skin. A must +5.

Neb
Lifeguard Nebris [7.2~7.23] | 28D Rerun, Permanent unit
Priority: Recommended | Target: +3 | Uses: Raids (FH/GR)

One of NHNebris' self-buff/setup costumes. NHNebris remains the best (wind) DPS in the game, and is at little risk of being powercrept due to how her kit works. This costume is usually used at the start of the fight (make sure she goes before a stat reinforcement buffer in the skill load order), and gives her a 10turn +50% ATK buff at +3. The damage on this costume itself is small, so you +3 it purely for the buff extension.

Elise
(NEW) NLElise [7.2~7.16] | 14D, Permanent Unit
Priority: ?? | Target: ?? | Uses: ??

Awaiting kit reveal. Elise hasn't been able to leave a mark in the game so far, being a weird mix between a PvP unit (shred) and an SP battery (at high investment) in a overcrowded element. Maybe her third costume will allow her to finally truly carve out a niche for herself.

Foxwife
(NEW) TLDalvi [7.16.~7.30] | 14D, Permanent Unit
Priority: ?? | Target: ?? | Uses: Being the only chaste maiden in a game filled with degenerate females.

Awaiting kit reveal. The balance patch turned Dalvi into a Wind Liatris, a DoT stacker who ramps her damage in longer fights (raids) but can also one-shot a lot of other tough mobs or would-be walls in PvE with help from Maidkini Rubia (DoT amplifier). Now that Dalvi has been taken out of irrelevancy and turned into a good Wind DPS it is expected this costume will further buff her new DoT-themed playstyle.

August Banners (Predictions)

August banners have not been revealed yet; these are units that are expected to rerun during this month

Eclipse
BVEclipse [Rework] [?.??~?.??] | Permanent unit
Priority: Recommended | Target: +5 | Uses: ToS, General PvE, Raids

BVEclipse is a one of the best 3x3 (vault) AoEs in the game. Mainly shines in ToS, where its low SP cost and insane damage makes this the go-to main DPS option for magic runs, but she will also greatly help you if you're still progressing through the packs and other one-time PvE content, as this is a massive upgrade over her free Bride Costume.

The 3.0 rework gave this costume (and Dimension Witch/Bride) hefty buffs, and has put Eclipse back on the radar again as viable option for raids. Her B3 turns this costume into a spamable 1T cooldown skill (=1760% per turn on a 3x3), but the SP cost is high - 9SP for her alone. Still, it seems the developer were not done with the biggest tits in the game just yet and, now that Eclipse is relevant again, neither should you.

Mina
WPQWilhelmina [?.??~?.??] | Permanent unit
Priority: Recommended | Target: +1 or +4 | Uses: Raids, LN

Wilhelmina is a core chainer and decent DPS who is primarily used in any raids (FH/GR) with single or few weak spots. This is her chain self-buff costume; at +4 it gives her 6T of chain reinforcement while having solid damage on top. Do note that this costume is synced with her Iron Monarch costume, so both costumes need to be either below +4 or at/above +4 at the same time to prevent cooldown gaps.

I'm a Returnglutti. What did I miss?

Aside from the content in the 3.0 anniversary (including the new standalone non-GPC client!), several new packs, fated guests, and lots of QoL:

2.5~3.0 Period (Dec '25-May '26)
  • Fantasia Square: You can hangout/interact/chat with other players in an online hub town while dress-up your own chibi avatar.
  • Fishing: The first new lifestyle content. Fish in various fully 3d rendered areas, upgrade your boat/fishing rods, and view your catches in your Aquarium. Once you have cleared the early fishing game you can farm coins for monthly gold/powders.
  • Golden Colosseum: New equalized gear PvP mode with changing rules and thus meta every 2 weeks. You build a team and use artifacts/cards (like in ToS), making it more of a MW x ToS hybrid. It's pretty casual, 10 wins per week ensure you can get all rewards.
  • Taros Tactics Manual: Challenge battles with preset teams in a 'battle bingo' format. These test and help players understand knockbacks, unit combos and more while offering fun and good rewards. A new board is available every month.
  • BURST: A new growth system where you spend extra SP to massively powerup a skill for that turn.
  • Refinement Mileage: Fixed R24/23 grade enhancements are available for powder mileage. Applied retroactively, so you'll log into a lot of them.
  • Special Skins: A cheaper, direct purchase (no gacha) variant of Prestige Skins that don't have mini-FG interactions.
2.0~2.5 Period (June~November 2025)
  • Newglutti Overhaul: New and returngluttis are no longer walled by Diana/B-Helena reruns - these are now permanently available as free +5s via a reworked and extended newbie pass. +5 welfare units like Bride Eclipse and S.Dalvi can now also be obtained any time, and you can now also borrow a character to assist you 3x per day per game mode if you are stuck on something.
  • Prestige Skins: Cosmetic, paid $$ only skins. They cost anywhere from $8 to max. $60 (or $45 if you use Japanese Yen as currency), and come with mini Fated Guest-style L2D interactions.
Pre-2.0 Anni
  • Glupy Diner & Fated Guests: (You) now exist ingame and are able to romance various costumes via the Glupy Diner, your own restaurant SIM. The main reward is a live interaction L2D of that girl, as well as various CGs. Nebris (Newbie Pass) and Morpeah (Event Mission) are your starter wives.
  • Minigames are a thing now, and can be accessed through the Arcade. Some like Pandora Escape are very elaborate, and are like standalone games within the game.
  • Guilds now exist, as do monthly Guild Raids - giant Fiend battles with 7 units on a 5x5 grid. Join a guild for daily gold, and participate in the monthly Guild Raids for Draw Tickets, Elixirs, and more.
  • Tower of Salvation: A Roguelike, equalized gear Tower mode with ever-changing enemy layouts and strategies. The existing towers were also updated with new floors and rewards (shops).

QoL/Others

  • Map finds weekly instead of daily. Reduced gear swapping fatigue (gear snapshot function for PvP+Last Night, FH presets). Instant bulk craft/upgrade/dismantle for powders. Able to start FH at max. LV20 and get all preceding level rewards. ToS no longer drops levels between seasons (+wildcard slot at the start). ToP is now LN style (no more repeats needed). Optimization.
  • MyRoom has been overhauled and turned into max. 9 linked rooms, allowing you to decorate house rather than a dorm.
  • Additional systems to improve a character's strength: Engravings (skill changes/char bonus stats) and Awakening (more stats).
  • Able to decorate your MyCard/Profile Page with Stickers.
