Westen Champlin, YouTuber and auto enthusiast also known as WestenCam, enjoys doing crazy things about cars. You may have seen his Cummins-diesel-swapped Ford Mustang or a 1968 Dodge Charger that he rescued.
https://www.westenchamplinmerch.com builds and his wild ideas have made him an internet sensation, with more than 1 million YouTube subscribers. This Kansas native is one the four automotive modifiers who will compete at Motortrend's Roadkill Nights Power by Dodge this Saturday.
Over the years, he did a lot of crazy stuff with his cars. These included swapping out a Cummins diesel engine for a Mustang titled 'Smoke Stang.' He also installed a track on a Dodge Raptor. His latest creation? A Dodge Challenger Hellcat. He plans to turn it into an offroad monster.
The 2000-HP Stang
A wild burnout build takes a lot of effort, and Westen Champlin has a lot to offer. He shows us how to take an existing Ford Mustang, and install a 2000-horsepower build motor.
But first, he needed to fix a variety of problems with his build. Westen had several problems with his engine, including fuel issues and leaking injectors. He was a hard worker before the Stang started working.
Furthermore, he was required to create an engine mount for the Stang and install an ignition device that could deliver enough current to all of his workshops. Although it was a lot of work, the Stang finally turned on.
