Cadence — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cadence collects, why, and how it is used. Cadence is operated by a solo independent developer.
1. What we collect and why
Per-server configuration (stored in Cloudflare KV)
When a server administrator runs /setup, we store:

Subscription data
When a subscriber links their Ko-fi account via /setup:

| Discord user ID | To link the subscription to the Discord user who claimed it |
| Discord guild ID | To know which server the subscription covers |

We receive payment webhook data from Ko-fi. We never see your full payment card details — those are handled entirely by Ko-fi and their payment processor.
Technical data
When Cadence receives a Discord interaction (slash command, button press, modal), Discord sends us the interaction payload, which includes your Discord user ID and guild ID. We do not log or persist this data beyond what is needed to handle the request.
2. What we do NOT collect
- We do not collect message content from your server.
- We do not collect voice channel data.
- We do not collect any information about server members other than the administrator who runs
/setupand the subscriber who links a Ko-fi account. - We do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
- We do not sell, share, or monetise your data with third parties.
3. How data is stored
All data is stored in Cloudflare KV, a key-value store operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Data is retained as long as your server's configuration exists. Removing Cadence from your server does not automatically delete stored data — contact us to request deletion.

Cadence interacts with the following third-party services:

We do not control the privacy practices of these services.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain server configuration data and subscription records for as long as the service is active for that server. If you want your data deleted:
- Remove Cadence from your server.

We will delete all stored data associated with your server and subscription within 14 days of a confirmed deletion request.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our support server.
We are a small independent operation. We will respond to all reasonable requests as promptly as we can.
7. Children
Cadence is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced in our support server. Continued use of Cadence after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
