1. Create an account on DeepSeek Platform
2. Go to the API Keys page
   
3. Click Create New API Key
   
4. Enter a name for your key, for example sp
   
5. Click Create API Key
   Copy the generated key and save it somewhere safe
   

Steps on SaucepanAI

1. Go back to SaucepanAI
2. Open Settings > Providers
3. Click Add Provider
   
4. Select DeepSeek from the list
   
5. Paste your key into the API Key field
6. In Model ID, enter either: deepseek-v4-flash or deepseek-v4-pro
   
7. Click Test
8. If everything works correctly, click Add Provider

deepseek-v4-flash - faster and fully sufficient for RP
deepseek-v4-pro - better response quality, but slower and more expensive
