Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up messes. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

They're also easy to use using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and see what they're working on.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

It's got a host of other innovative features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop without requiring refilling it manually. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to control the cleaning mode of your room and provide the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than most of the competition.

Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes creating an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin cleaning and mopping easily.

It is important to note that the mapping process takes some time, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.

3. robot vacuum cleaner reviews Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature an inclination that is like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned and not just being swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to customize a number of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without needing an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that offers impressive features at affordable prices. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously misting with water to capture dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also quite high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as the other models.

As with most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they are empty.

6. S10

This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It is also able to reach the corners of my small apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home so it knows what to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a sleek design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed quite well. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It's extremely silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpeting.

It's smaller than the majority of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they won't be picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and not tied to your account.

robot vacuum reviews does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
