Sup, I go through a handful of names — none of them really stick tho. You can call me Jason, or whatever works. I use it/its pronouns only — deviations are not appreciated. I deal with identity disturbance, depersonalization, and memory issues, which means how I present myself can change and doesn’t always follow a pattern. My identity is fluid by default; things shift, sometimes without warning tho i usually present masculinely. I’m not always at my best and I get tired easily, so patience is appreciated. Depending on the situation, I can be really annoying, distant, or a little unsettling. I’m not easy to pin down or categorize, tho i’m not hard to talk to, just particular — what you see is what you get, and I exist pretty comfortably in my own weird little lane of life currently.
৯ I suffer from AVPD with ASPD traits, DPD, BD, OCD, and a handful of conditions that affect how I act and how i may be perceived. I’m visually and audibly impaired, live with chronic pain and fatigue, and I’m selectively mute; when I go nonverbal, I sometimes use an AAC instead to communicate. If we get close enough, I’m open to talking about these things more in depth, just not upfront. I tend to be eccentric by default and I don’t always read tone correctly, so interacting with me comes with a certain level of risk. Do not ever use tone tags with me; I hate them. My humor can be problematic, and I prefer being around people who can match that energy so I’m not constantly worrying about someone else’s triggers. I may suddenly distance myself at times, intentionally or not, though I do try to maintain close bonds with people I feel safe around. I avoid those who make me uncomfortable, or shit talk my close friends. I don’t tolerate anyone speaking badly about those I care about, I will block you.
I can get pretty misanthropic, especially during episodes, and I won’t pretend otherwise. Sometimes that just turns into long, kind of embarrassing rants about how much humanity sucks and how tired I am of people as a concept. I sit somewhere on the aplatonic spectrum and experience diaphic attraction; I’m demiromantic, ageosexual, and am a masochistic freak — do whatever you want with that information. I tend to latch onto certain concepts and aesthetics rather than labels: hunting, museums, poetry, wolves, dogs, canines in general, addiction as a theme, guns, the idea of being a false savior, and surrealism all resonate with me in ways that are hard to fully explain. This list isn’t fixed and will probably keep growing and changing whenever I remember to update it.
