Cottage Terrace Inn, Room 104

You turn away from the woman. You have a bad feeling about her. You wonder if she could have had something to do with the injured person in room 106. Maybe she didn't do it herself but maybe she is with some guy or some group who did it.

Could the person on the floor be one of the girls from the MunchMart? You hope not.

You hurry to room 104. You doubt any of the guys bothered to lock the door after you went out so you immediately grab the knob and turn. You go right in. You swiftly close the door, lock it, and look through the peephole. You don't even know why you look through the peephole. But you don't see anyone.

My phone, you think, get the phone.

Then you think something else. You wonder, why is it so quiet?

You turn around. You back up quickly, too quickly, and the back of your head bumps the door. Your mouth falls open, your eyes dart everywhere, your heart is pounding. The room is a mess, torn up, like room 106. You don't see a single one of the guys until you look down at the floor. They are scattered around the floor of the small room. None of them move or speak.

Get the phone, you remind yourself, but there's no way you'll find it with all of the mess.

Landline. Use the landline.

You take two steps toward the area where you think the phone should be, even though you don't see it, and a loud sound stops you.

Someone knocks on the door.

Is it her? Is it them?

You ignore the knock at the door and search for the phone. You find it behind the television. You quickly dial and try to breathe while you wait. Finally, you hear a human voice.

"Please," you say. "Send someone now. I don't know what is going on but lots of people are hurt. I-I don't know the address. Please, just send someone to the motel off of Highway 9. Cottage Terrace Inn."
