The Kalma is the beloved pillar upon which much of the current Deadbeat space industry is built. This many-limbed Ebilocus-type is not the fastest, strongest, or most versatile Daemon out there, but its streamlined design is absurdly cost-effective and reliable, as proven by its 110 years (and counting!) of continued production. Its large number of EMOI ports allow the parallel use of a plethora of different modular tool-limbs, making it ideal for complex maintenance operations on void-dwelling vessels.

The six gimballed Dust&Texon thrusters implanted in the Daemon's base carapace provide it with great control and handling, but limited acceleration. If required by the mission, additional thruster can be added through appropriate EMOI limbs.

Kalma Daemons have a reputation for having particularly affable, relaxed personalities, making them ideal vessels to train neophyte pilots with.
