dbd death is not an escape. this is probably cringe to a lot of people, to lovemail a game, but it's more than a game to me and not in the edgy weird way but in the way that dead by daylight is genuinely one of the biggest parts of my life. i am who i am because of it. probably a bit dramatic but who cares? all the lore has a huge impact on me - i can and have read it for hours, rereading it constantly over and over. the artist, carmina mora, has some of the most well written lore ive ever read. her story invokes strong emotions in me, which not many pieces of writing can do. i genuinely wholeheartedly believe that nobody in the entire world - none of the 60 million players - like dead by daylight more than me. there is no words to describe just how much i love this game. i've played since december 10, 2018, making it recently 5 years. no0b3 was my biggest inspiration, i remember watching him for months before finally playing. i'm so grateful i did, i took a huge break around 2020ish just before stranger things was announced to be removed, and returned for roots of dread's release because i was bored and wanted to play something different. i can't begin to express how happy i am that i started playing again when roots of dread released. dbd quickly took over my interests, previously i was only playing fortnite, and soon i was only playing dbd. i rarely play much else. there's nothing non-sentient that makes me happier than dbd. i hope i can continue playing this game for years to come, and i hope i can hit prestige 100 on nea very soon.
