#1 DECO*27 superfan since 2022!!!!

i love deco*27 a lot a lot a lot. i've enjoyed his music since 2022, which may not seem like a long time to some people but it is for me because in 2022 i was really struggling with lots of issues. gender dysphoria, school, just a whole lot of depressing shit. discovering his music actually helped me a lot, it made me so much happier. i had liked vocaloid before that, but as a very very casual fan and not really understanding what the concept of it was. it was his music that really opened my eyes to it. his first song i listened to was salamander, because i accidentally found the song through the recommendations spotify plays sometimes after your playlist is over. i was instantly hooked, it was so catchy. after that i went through his discography and found his other songs and just instantly became hyperfixated.

my favorite album by him is mannequin. my favorite song is negative shinkaron. i love deco's music because i find him very creative, almost all his songs are about relationships, yet not just in the "baby don't leave me!!" way. he actually finds a way to use that theme in a very versatile way. for instance, "dilemma" is about miku trying to get over a breakup and forget all about her past lover. "rabbit hole" is about miku (who is most likely a prostitute) not taking relationships seriously. she doesn't find fulfilment in long commitments and just prefers little flings. meanwhile "sad girl sex" is like the more mature version of "rabbit hole". they're two sides of the same coin, telling the same story. while rabbit hole miku prefers sleeping around, sad girl sex miku wants to settle down and find a real relationship, not just hookups. not to mention his tuning is so amazing. i miss his tuning from 2020, it's iconic, but this newer one is so cute and sounds a bit more humanlike which is pretty amazing to be able to tune a vocaloid to sound like a real girl. his instrumentals are peak as well.

i know deco*27 has a LOT of fans and that he is one of the most popular and influential producers in the vocaloid industry but i truly believe i am his #1 fan because i don't know anyone else who takes him as seriously as i do. a lot of the people i know only know a couple songs, or know a lot of songs but don't know the meanings. i know almost all of his songs, even the older ones from his conti new album, i read almost all his lyrics and try to decipher their meanings, i can recognize what song of his is playing 10 seconds in or less. some songs i like more than others, but i don't truly hate any of his songs. i don't have any merchandise because i'm way too broke, nor do i have top plays for him, but i don't think that matters when it comes to how much something matters to you. his music matters so much to me, so even if i don't have any of his nendoroids or keychains or have first place on last.fm, i know that he will always remain #1 producer in my heart.

im tired of this misconception about deco where people think "all his songs are identical/sound the same",, please go listen to "hibana" and tell me if it sounds the same as "blue planet". you clearly have only listened to the most popular 4 tracks that are trending. "b-but ai kotoba!" ai kotoba is a 3 part series where he drastically improved his tuning over the years by putting together all his most popular songs over the past 5 years. please actually look into an artist's discography before you talk about them! every single musical artist has a signature style of how they make their music. have you even actually listened to the 3 songs you just mentioned? i will concede that some songs on his mannequin album remind me of each other a lot ("angelhair" and "u", for example) but that in no way makes him a "same-y" producer. obviously, if a specific track he released was very popular, he'd want to release what gets him the money. his music has improved and changed so much over the years actually and if you cant see that then i dont think you're listening enough. thanks

theres more but theyre all lost media now im so sad
